(Minghui.org) “You are getting younger and younger,” people say. “You look like you're in your fifties.” I am 66 years old.
My life centers around telling people about Falun Gong and the persecution, and I advise them to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its organizations.
Roast duck needs to be well roasted. As I wait for a duck to cook, I use the time to tell people the facts about Falun Gong.
This is an opportunity to tell people that Falun Gong is practiced around the world, that the CCP will be eliminated because it persecutes Falun Gong, and about the importance of quitting the CCP and its affiliates.
I noticed a man in his forties standing nearby. He looked as if he had something on his mind. My immediate thought was that no matter what, I had to tell him the facts about Falun Gong. I started the conversation by asking him if he was waiting for a roast duck. Since he said he was, I began to tell him about Falun Gong. He asked me if I was a teacher, and I laughed and said, "Far from it."
He wondered how I was able to explain things so eloquently. I replied, “I cultivate Falun Gong and follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance because I want to be to be a good person. Falun Gong improved my morality and enlightened me to the truth in life.”
He said he was a cadre and knew about the Party’s corruption and power struggles. He quit the CCP using his real name.
Another practitioner and I went out to talk to people about Falun Gong, and we talked with many people. The other practitioner recorded the names of those who agreed to quit the CCP.
A middle-aged man walked toward us, so I greeted him, “How are you? It is predestined that we meet today. You look like a kind person, and I would like to tell you something very important. The CCP is persecuting good people and has committed many crimes. If you joined the CCP you should quit.”
He looked at me and was going to tell me what his job was. Before he could speak, I told him that I only wanted him to hear and understand the facts about Falun Gong.
“You Falun Gong ladies don’t practice at home,” he said. “Instead you go everywhere, talk to people, and put up posters. Let me tell you that I am a patrolling police officer, and assigned to deal with what you are doing.”
I sent righteous thoughts and said, “That's great. You really met good people today. I am telling you about Falun Gong for your own sake. Falun Gong has been embraced in more than 100 countries. I know that you have to make a living, but please don’t go against your conscience for any reason!”
He smiled and said, “I know that you are all good people. I have heard the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution, and others also advised me to quit the CCP. But I never did. I listened to you today carefully and I understand now. I am a CCP member. Please help me withdraw.”
I was very touched, gave him a pseudonym, and he quit the CCP. He thanked me, and I wished him good luck.
Sentient beings want to hear the facts about Falun Gong. I will study the Fa well, cultivate diligently, send forth righteous thoughts, and tell people about Falun Gong and the persecution.
