(Minghui.org) I am 36 years old, and my hometown is Langfang, in China's Hebei Province. My wife and I have a furniture business in Xi'an City.
During the Chinese New Year in 2014 we went to our hometown to celebrate. Quite suddenly I developed a fever and cough. I saw a doctor and he prescribed some medication. However my health got worse. Then I went to Tianjin City General Hospital.
I had a CT scan and the doctor said I had a rare and malignant tumor between my lungs and trachea. He said I needed surgery – quickly.
I know this type of cancer is difficult to cure. The treatment is costly, and even if the surgery is successful my life expectancy could be short. Many patients with this cancer don't live more than a year. I did not want to spend the money on surgery and medical bills just to lose my life in a short time. I was concerned about how my wife and children would get by without me and with no money.
My wife was pregnant at the time and an ultrasound revealed that it was a boy. We were thrilled because we already had two girls. With the news about my health I went to my wife and told her that maybe we should consider aborting the baby. I would not be able to work and was concerned I could not provide for him. I did not want to leave yet another child fatherless. My wife was against the idea immediately. She did not want to kill the life that was growing inside her. My wife said that the child will carry on the family name. We held on to each other and cried, feeling hopeless.
Then I remembered my cousin and that she is a Falun Dafa practitioner. I mentioned it to my wife and said, “I heard that Falun Dafa can have a miraculous healing effect. Let's go visit and ask her what she thinks.”
After hearing my story, my cousin told us both to repeat “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." She gave me an MP3 player with Falun Dafa Master's lectures downloaded on it for me to listen to. She also helped us to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). I asked my cousin if this all will really help me. She replied, "If you are sincere, Master will take care of you. Master looks at people's attitude to Dafa, you must believe.”
My wife and I began to repeat sincerely, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good." We listened to Master's lectures.
One month later I was feeling a lot better. I went to see my cousin again and told her how I was doing after following her suggestions. I wanted to go to the hospital for a checkup and I was hoping her husband would go with me.
My cousin's husband and I went to the Beijing 301 hospital for a checkup. They performed a procedure (thoracentesis) on me. A doctor read my test results and told me I had a benign tumor. I took out the CT scan I did at Tianjin General Hospital for him to see. He compared the two test results. “It was a malignant tumor based on the CT scan, he said, “How could it change like that - CT scans don't lie!” I told the doctor, “The CT scan is not wrong. It is because I have been continuously repeating 'Falun Dafa is good'. This made the change.” The doctor was puzzled. He said, “I will prescribe some medication for you.” I told him I will continue to repeat 'Falun Dafa is good'.” I did not take any medicine.
I went home “Dafa really works” I excitedly told my cousin. “The cancer is gone! All I have now is a benign tumor. I am so relieved. I must thank you for saving me and my whole family.”
My cousin spoke up quickly, "Please do not thank me. You should thank Master. Master saved you!"
I soon after returned to my cousin's home and burned incense and kowtowed in front of Master's portrait to show my respect. I want to thank Master for saving me!
I invited my cousin's family for dinner. During the dinner my cousin told me: “You will be cured completely if you continue to repeat 'Falun Dafa is good' and 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.' You should tell your miraculous experience to your friends and family. Let people know Falun Dafa is good. They will be saved too. This is using your actions to thank Master for saving you.” I assured my cousin that I will. Then my cousin gave me the most precious book of Falun Dafa - Zhuan Falun.
My wife and I returned to Xi'an City. I will do as my cousin requested and share my experience with everyone and tell them Falun Dafa is truly good!
