July 18, 2015 |   By a Minghui correspondent in Washington D.C.

(Minghui.org) More than 1,000 Falun Gong practitioners from across the U.S. held activities in Washington D.C. on July 16, 2015, marking the 16th year of persecution in China. After an anti-persecution rally on Capitol Hill, they held a large-scale 1.3-mile parade, calling for justice and an end to the persecution. The parade started from Capital Hill, passed the U.S. Department of Justice, FBI, the White House, and other government offices, and ended at the Washington Monument. Falun Gong practitioners held banners stating “Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong in China,” “Falun Dafa Is Great,” “The World Needs Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance,” “Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice,” “Support 60,000 Lawsuits Against Jiang,” etc.

A representative from the Falun Dafa Association in Washington D.C. said that July 20, 2015 marked 16 years of Falun Gong practitioners' peace resistance to the brutal persecution in China. Chinese Falun Gong practitioners, as well as non-practitioners, have stepped out and filed lawsuits against Jiang this year.
