(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 12 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 25 were illegally arrested.

1. [Jiexi County, Guangdong Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced

Three practitioners were sentenced by the Jiexi County Court on June 5, 2015: Mr. Liu Shaopeng to four years in prison, Ms. Li Meihong seven years, and Ms. Wu Shuqin to three years.

2. [Taian City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chang Lijun and Mr. Yang Pinggang Arrested

Ms. Chang Lijun was arrested by officers from the Caiyuan Police Station on the morning of June 10, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to the police station and handcuffed to an iron chair. The police ransacked her home and arrested her husband. She was released and her husband’s whereabouts are unknown.

3. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Xinyu Detained

Ms. Wang Xinyu was arrested at her home by officers including director Shi Yanjun and deputy director Li Haizhou from the Shenglilu Police Station on the morning of June 13, 2015. She was detained at the Zhangjiakou City Detention Center for ten days. The police ransacked her home and confiscated computers, printers, blank CDs, cell phones, and other personal items.

4. [Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Several practitioners who accused Jian Zemin were arrested by officers from the Lianyungang City Domestic Security Division, Police Station, and Community Office on June 12, 2015. Mr. Zhong Jinjun was detained for 15 days. Mr. Guo Jiafu, Ms. Xu Ruhua, Mr. Xu Longbiao, and Ms. Yao Xinglan were released on bail that day. The whereabouts of the rest including Mr. Zhong Chongbin, Ms. Yuan Chunli are unknown.

5. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Six Practitioners Sentenced

Six practitioners were recently sentenced by the Gaomi City Court: Mr. Shan Yicheng to seven years in prison, Mr. Du Qihai, Mr. Liu Wenming, Ms. Jing Xiuling, and Mr. Zhang Menglei each three years, and Ms. Chen Guangxia to four years with five years of probation.

6. [Tianjin] Ms. Liu Yuhua and Mr. Ma Cunsheng Detained

Ms. Liu Yuhua and Mr. Ma Cunsheng were arrested by officers from the Zhongwang Town Police Station on June 9, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are detained at the Xiqing District Caozhuangzi Detention Center.

7. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Xiaoming Detained

Mr. Li Xiaoming was arrested by officers from the Tangchi Town Police Station on June 12, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. He is detained at the Dashiqiao Detention Center.

8. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Mr. Wu Shenghe Taken to Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center

Mr. Wu Shenghe was arrested by plainclothes officers on June 9, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong and distributing Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDS on a public bus. He was taken to the Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center.

9. [Dunhuang City, Gansu Province] Mr. He Shaohua and Lu Fengping Detained

Mr. He Shaohua and Lu Fengping were arrested by officers from the Dunhuang City Domestic Security Division and Jiuquan District Domestic Security Division on June 5, 2015. They have been detained since then.

10. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Five practitioners were arrested by officers from the Jinzhou City 610 Office and Beijiao Police Station, and Zijingshan Police Station on June 11, 2015: Ms. Gao Xia, Ms. He Jiumei, Ms. Zhao Sufen, Ms. Shao, and Ms. Li. Ms. Gao was released and the four others are detained.

Ms. Chen Jinxiu and Ms. Wu were arrested by officers from the Luxi Town Police Station on June 13, 2015, for distributing Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs. Ms. Wu was released and Ms. Chen is detained at the Jiayu County Detention Center.

Ms. Chen Shuzhi, Ms. Zhang Hongjun, and Ms. Zhang Shulian were arrested on June 9, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were detained at the Gaobeidian Detention Center for 15 days.

13. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Wang Guizhen Arrested

Ms. Wang Guizhen, 51, was arrested at home by officers from the Hualinping Police Station on June 11, 2015. The police confiscated Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, printers, computers, and 13,000 yuan. Ms. Wang was taken to the Xiguoyuan Detention Center.

Ms. Zhang Hongxiang was arrested on June 10, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

15. [Muling City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Fengyun Arrested

Ms. Wang Fengyun was arrested by local officers on the morning of June 11, 2015, for distributing Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs. She is detained at the Muling City Domestic Security Division.
