(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 3 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 15 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Rudong County, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Chen Wanzhi Persecuted to Death

Mr. Chen Wanzhi was arrested in 2002 when he was in Beijing appealing for Falun Gong. He was sentenced to three years in prison, and held in the Suzhou Prison. One year later he was in critical condition as a result of abuse. He died shortly afterward.

2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Two young female practitioners Zhuang and Xue were arrested while they were in Qinggang County distributing Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa) informational materials on June 9, 2015.

3. [Anda City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Nie Yaan and Ms. Guo Yuchun Detained

Ms. Nie Yaan, a teacher at the Anda City No. 3 Middle School, and Ms. Guo Yuchun, a teacher at the Liuyi Elementary School, were arrested by officers from the 110 Patrol Detachment when they were telling people about Falun Gong. Both practitioners are being held in a detention center.

4. [Yiyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Deng Lasheng and Mr. Hu Jian Detained

Mr. Deng Lasheng and Mr. Hu Jian were arrested by officers from the Qionghu Police Station on the afternoon of June 10, 2015. They are being held in the Yuanjiang City Detention Center.

5. [Tianjin] Ms. Liu Yuhuan and Mr. Ma Cunsheng Detained

Ms. Liu Yuhua and Mr. Ma Cunsheng, from Qing County, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, were arrested by officers from the Zhongwang Town Police Station when they were telling people about Falun Gong in Jinghai County, Tianjin on June 9, 2015. The two practitioners are being held in the Wuqing District Detention Center.

6. [Nanning City, Guangxi Province] Mr. Gan Xiangwen Arrested

Mr. Gan Xiangwen was arrested by State Security officers on June 3, 2015. His whereabouts are unknown.

7. [Tianjin] Mr. Sun Jianyue Sentenced to Four Years in Prison

It was reported recently that the Ninghe County Court sentenced Mr. Sun Jianyue to four years in prison without holding a court hearing. Mr. Sun has filed an appeal to the Tianjin Intermediate Court.

8. [Anyi County, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Yu Meilan Arrested

Ms. Yu Meilan was followed and arrested by State Security officers when she was telling people about Falun Gong in a farm market on the morning of June 11, 2015

9. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Tang Jianying Arrested

Ms. Tang Jianying and her mother-in-law went to visit her husband in Shijiazhuang on the evening of Jun 10, 2015. They were arrested at the Cangzhou Train Station as their names were on the most wanted list. They are being held in the Train Station Police Station.

10. [Shihezi City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Mr. Wu Shengmin Sentenced

Mr. Wu Shengmin was sentenced to six years in prison by the Shihezi Intermediate Court on December 27, 2014. After he appealed the sentencing, the court upheld the judgment without retrial. Mr. Wu is being held in the No. 1 Detention Center.

11. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Mr. Ma Dunshan Arrested

Mr. Ma Dunshan, 84, was arrested when he was telling people about Falun Gong and posting Falun Gong materials on the morning of June 5, 2015. He was taken to the Yanquan Police Station. He was released and brought home by his son that evening.

12. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Li Ping Detained and Ms. Hu Limin's Whereabouts Are Unknown

Ms. Li Ping was arrested at home on the evening of March 9, 2015. The police confiscated her Falun Dafa books and a cellular phone. She is being held in the Kunming City Detention Center.

Ms. Hu Limin was arrested on March 9, 2015. Her whereabouts is unknown.
