(Minghui.org) I would to like share two stories that I heard from non-practitioners. They both seemed quite unlikely if it had not been for their connection to Falun Gong.
My brother-in-law doesn't practice Falun Gong but he does know the truth about it. He has quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and has often brought his friends to my home and asked me to help them quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
My brother-in-law works as a truck driver in an open coal mine. His job is to transport the waste out from the bottom of the pit. The road in and out is quite steep and, after many years of extraction, the pit is very deep.
One day he saw a boulder in the back of his truck when he got to work. He thought it was a bit strange as he had never seen such a boulder before. There were usually just small stones. He started his truck and headed down into the pit as usual.
As he was driving up the steep road out of the pit, he suddenly realized that his truck had stopped going up and was moving quickly back down the road. The truck was out of control, and an accident seemed inevitable.
He was paralyzed with fear and could do nothing but wait to fall to his death. He then heard a massive object hit the ground, and his truck stopped dead.
He slowly stepped out of the cab and saw that the rear gate was open. The boulder had fallen out, hit the ground, and wedged itself right beneath one of the wheels. The truck couldn't move, and a horrible crash was thus avoided.
The whole thing seemed miraculous, but my bother-in-law knew whom he should thank. He had a sense that, through acknowledging Falun Dafa and quitting the CCP, he had escaped death.
One day on my way to work, I ran into several people I didn't know. I took the opportunity to tell them the facts about Falun Gong, but one of them found it hard to believe, especially when it came to the efficacy of Falun Gong in keeping people healthy and fit.
Before I could say more, another fellow jumped in to tell his story. “It was truly amazing,” he said.
While fishing in a river in the summer of 2004, he saw a book in the water and retrieved it. When he opened the book he saw that it was Zhuan Falun,the main book of Falun Gong. To his surprise, only in the last three pages were wet. All the other pages were dry, even though they were just regular paper.
He wondered how this could be possible and told one of his friends about it. Then he gave the book to his friend.
I told him that he should have kept the book, that it might have brought him good fortune. He looked sorry that he had given it away.
