(Minghui.org) “Is this the practice that the communist party is afraid of?” a woman asked a Falun Gong practitioner at the annual multicultural festival in Guelph, Canada.
“I've heard about Falun Gong,” she said, “but I don't understand why the Chinese Communist Party is afraid of you.”
The practitioner told her that the violence and evil that the Party endorses is in direct contrast to Falun Gong's teaching of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and that the Party does not want the persecution of Falun Gong to be made public.
The lady took several flyers and a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. “This is great,” she said. “Everybody should have freedom of belief.”
The festival was held on June 6 and 7. Many people stopped by practitioners' booth to learn the exercises, get detailed information, and sign the petition to condemn the persecution of Falun Gong. Several Chinese published their resignations from the communist party with practitioners' help.

Two Chinese volunteers at the festival were curious about Falun Gong. They were born in China and grew up in Canada. One of them said that all they had heard about Falun Gong from their parents was negative.
“But I believe that the teaching of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is a good thing,” she said, “and you guys are peaceful.
“It is great that we have a chance to meet real Falun Gong practitioners here today. We really want to know what Falun Gong truly is.”
She and her friend took copies of all the Chinese materials and said, “We will look at these this summer and ask our parents to read them, too.”
