1. [Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Pei Zhihua Suffers Health Problem Due to Persecution in Prison

Ms. Pei Zhihua, who was sentenced to an eight-year prison term in 2008, is being held at the notorious Liaoning Province Women's Prison. Due to abuses she suffered in prison, she developed high blood pressure, heart disease, and fluctuating blood sugar.

Without informing Ms. Pei, prison officials contacted her husband at the end of 2014 and told him to sign a paper stating there was no need to treat her illnesses and that she would take full responsibility. Her husband signed it without knowing that she was not informed.

2. [Beipiao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Huaping Detained

Ms. Zhang Huaping was arrested at the Huludao City Railway Station by railway police on February 27, 2015. She had Falun Gong books and informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong with her. She was taken to the railway police station and then to the Huludao Detention Center that day.

Ms. Xu Kun was tried at the Haidian District Court on March 4, 2015.

4. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Yuxiang Detained

Ms. Li Yuxiang was arrested and taken to the Hengshui Detention Center by officers from Hengshui City and Shenzhou City on December 17, 2014.

5. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Liqun Imprisoned

Mr. Zhang Liqun, sentenced to 15 years, has been imprisoned for approximately 12 years. He is still being held at the Shijiazhuang No. 4 Prison in Hebei Province.

6. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Five Practitioners Detained

Mr. Wang Honghua and four female practitioners were arrested on February 24, 2015, for talking to the public about the persecution of Falun Gong. Mr. Wang was taken to the Zhangshu Detention Center, and the women were taken to the Yichun Detention Center.

The female practitioners held hunger strikes from February 24 to February 28 to protest their mistreatment. One elderly practitioner developed tachycardia on February 27 and was given intravenous injections.
