Practitioner Mr. Song: “The guards and prisoners are to be blamed”

February 15, 2015 |   By a Minghui correspondent in Shandong Province, China

(Minghui.org) “If anything should happen to me, the guards and prisoners are to be blamed,” said Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Song Yusheng (宋玉胜), to his wife when she visited him in Shandong Prison.

Two guards had to carry him to meet with his wife. He was unable to walk, due to being subjected to torture.

He identified the guards and the prisoners who tortured him in the 11th prison ward.

“You must make them pay for what they did to me, especially prisoner Ren Qiang (任强),” he said, and pointed towards Ren. His wife left the prison with her face covered in tears because there was nothing she could do to stop the abuse.

Ren is a former police officer who was imprisoned for accepting bribes. Li Wei (李伟), the guard who is in charge of the 11th ward, assigned Ren to torture practitioners in an effort to transform them into renouncing Falun Gong.

Li assigned major criminal inmates to “manage” practitioners. He ordered them, “Teach practitioners with your hands and tools if they won't follow orders.”

Prisoners, in order to get early parole or reduced sentences, used a variety of means to torture prisoners, especially after they were given free rein to do whatever they wanted.

Eleven practitioners have been killed, and many more injured or disabled, in the 11th ward at Shandong Prison.

Mr. Song was unlawfully arrested and sentenced to 3.5 years for practicing Falun Dafa in August 2013.
