(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 19 cities or counties in 12 provinces. According to this report, 17 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, at least 16 were illegally arrested, and 12 were harassed and/or detained for suing Jiang Zemin.

Ms. Li Yongmei was sentenced to a three-year prison term in early October 2015.

Ms. Zhou Xiaolan was tried on December 11, 2015.

4. [Tianjin] Ms. Zhao Huizi Detained

Ms. Zhao Huizi, 63, was arrested by officers from the Taoyuan Village Police Station on December 6, 2015. They ransacked her home and confiscated several flyers about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Zhao was detained in the Caozhuangzi Detention Center for 15 days.

Ms. Yang Shuyu, arrested on December 4, 2015, is detained in the Beigou Town Detention Center.

6. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Li Rongsheng Detained

Mr. Li Rongsheng was arrested by officers from the Fengtang Town Police Station on December 4, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. He is detained in the Chaoan District Detention Center.

7. [Xiao County, Anhui Province] Mr. Liu Fating Arrested

Mr. Liu Fating was arrested again and taken to the Xiao County 610 Office on November 29, 2015.

8. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Xiao Fenglian and Ms. Zhou Liqin Detained and Five Harassed for Suing Jiang Zemin

Ms. Xiao Fenglian and Ms. Zhou Liqin were arrested by officers from the Longjiang Police Station on November 23, 2015. The police ransacked Ms. Xiao's home and confiscated Falun Gong books. The two practitioners were taken to the Hantai Detention Center. Their family members went to the detention center on December 2 and were advised that both were transferred to the Zaoshu Village Brainwashing Center in Pu Town.

Five practitioners were recently harassed by officers from the Hantai District Police Department, Residential Committee, and Sub-District Office for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator. They are Ms. Wang Sumin, Ms. Yang Suxia, Ms. Jia Guiqin, Ms. Zhu Xiulan, and Ms. Fu Suying. Officers from the Xiguan Police Station ransacked Ms. Fu's home on November 27, 2015, and confiscated Falun Gong books and informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

9. [Zunyi County, Guizhou Province] Three Practitioners Detained for Suing Jiang Zemin

Ms. Lei Jiaxiu, Ms. Li Daozhen, and Ms. He Wuqin were arrested by officers from the Zunyi County Police Department and Domestic Security Division on December 1, 2015, for suing Jiang. They are detained in the Heping Detention Center.

10. [Jiaozuo City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Guilian Detained for Suing Jiang Zemin

Ms. Li Guilian was harassed several times by officers from the local police station for suing Jiang. Then, she was arrested and is detained in the Jiaozuo City Detention Center.

11. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested for Suing Jiang Zemin

Practitioner Wang was arrested by officers from the Jingtian Police Station on November 21, 2015, for suing Jiang. Wang was released after being interrogated for more than 30 hours.

Ms. Yu Yufen, Shenzhen, who worked odd jobs in Sichuan, was arrested by officers from the Jingtian Police Station for suing Jiang. She was detained in the Futian Detention Center for 10 days.

Ms. Yi Qunfen was arrested and taken to the Futian Detention Center for suing Jiang. She was detained for 10 days.

12. [Lianjiang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Luo Ling Arrested

Ms. Luo Ling was searched and arrested by four officers on December 2, 2015. The police confiscated several informational documents for suing Jiang, 13 DVDs, 200 yuan in paper currency with information about the persecution of Falun Gong printed on them, and a name list of individuals who quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. She was released after two hours.

13. [Beijing] Ms. Yang Xiaofeng and Ms. Zhang Yuhong Detained

Ms. Yang Xiaofeng and Ms. Zhang Yuhong were arrested on December 6, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are detained in the Zhenluoying Police Station.

14. [Nanzhao County, Henan Province] Mr. Li Xiling Detained

Mr. Li Xiling was arrested at home by Jin Yuwu and other officers from the Hexi Police Station on December 2, 2015. He was detained in the Nanzhao County Detention Center for 15 days. Police extorted 1,000 yuan from the family. Police tried to arrest Mr. Li twice, but failed.

Ms. Yang Lijun was arrested by Wen and four officers from the Hengshan District Police Station on November 17, 2015. She was detained in the Jixi City No. 2 Detention Center for five days.

16. [Nantong City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Zhou Meisong and Ms. Xia Yuping Detained

Ms. Zhou Meisong and Ms. Xia Yuping were tried by the Tongzhou District Court on September 7, 2015. They are still detained in the Tongzhou District Detention Center and Nantong City Detention Center, respectively. Both are forced into slave labor.

Ms. Zhou Yumin was harassed at her workplace by three officers from the Zijingshan Police Station on December 6, 2015. She refused to sign the documents they presented. The police threatened her, saying that she would be detained if she did not sign.

18. [Chongqing] Ms. Zou Qiyuan and an Elderly Practitioner Arrested

Ms. Zou Qiyuan, 64, was arrested by Xiao Bing and Jiang Haijun from the Zhong County Domestic Security Division on November 6, 2015. They ransacked her home and confiscated informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to the Zhong County Detention Center and is deprived of family visits.

Ms. Wu, in her 80s, was also arrested by officers from the Zhong Domestic Security Division.

19. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Jiang He Detained

Ms. Jiang He was arrested at home by Wang Yuxiang, director, and about eight officers from the Changjianglu Police Station on October 30, 2015. The police ransacked her home. She was taken to that police station for interrogation and forced to sign the interrogation report.

Then, she was taken to the Guiyang City 300 Hospital for a physical examination, which included an x-ray, ultrasound, ECG, blood pressure, and she had her blood drawn. She was taken back to the police station and released the next day.

Mr. Lu Dahu and his wife Ms. Wan Huimin were arrested by officers from the Donghai Police Station on December 5, 2015. They were taken to the Hexi Detention Center on December 6.
