My older brother practices Falun Dafa. He came to see me with a copy of a new article by Master Li Hongzhi, the founder and teacher of Falun Dafa). I totally agreed with what the article said.

I am very conscientious at work and always willing take on work that other people cannot handle. However, when my coworkers started to think highly of me, I began to think highly of myself as well. I then developed the habit of reprimanding others.

After reading Master Li's new article, I began to follow the Falun Dafa principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and measure what I did against these standards in my daily life.

I began to respect my coworkers and spoke to them kindly. I also stopped fighting about my bonus. My coworkers noticed and said that I had changed completely for the better.

I used to struggle with my health. When I was in my 40s, I went on a vacation to bask in the sun and improve my energy. It didn't help, and my poor health lowered my spirits as well.

Shortly afterward I went to visit my brother. He asked me to listen to a recorded lecture of Teacher Li's. As I listened, I became energized and felt much better.

Then Jiang's regime staged that “self-immolation” on Tiananmen Square to deceive people. I deal with fire every day at work, so I could easily see through the suspicious parts on the video and did not believe it one bit.

One day a friend of mine, who was also a security guard for the police station, visited me. He told me that, because he arrested someone who practices Falun Gong, the police gave him a reward of 1500 yuan. That really upset me, and I scolded him. “Do you know what you have done?” I said. “How can you feel good about that money?”

Seeing how upset I was, he began to think about what he had done. He regretted it and promised me that he would not do anything like that again. I talked to both my mother and brother about the incident, and they agreed that I handled it well. My brother said that I would have good fortune for convincing my friend not to participate in the persecution of Falun Dafa.

Soon after that, I met a nice woman and we began to date. She was doing well and owned her own home and car. She was also divorced and had one child who lived with her. Her mother practiced Falun Dafa.

After dating a while, we got married. We sold her house and purchased a larger one. Her child got married. We are now both retired and have a happy marriage. Soon after, my daughter decided to come live with us, and the three of us get all along very well.

My brother said, “You have received good fortune because you know Falun Dafa is good and have been supportive of those who practice it.”

It is true that I think Falun Dafa is good and want more people to know it. By knowing that Dafa is good, good things will happen to you. That makes me happy to share my story.
