(Minghui.org) Eleven Falun Dafa practitioners shared their experiences at a conference in Taichung on August 30, 2015. They focused on how to inform visitors from mainland China about the persecution in China, either at tourist attractions or through the Internet.
About 600 Falun Dafa practitioners gathered in Taizhong.
Mei Hui talked about using text messages to inform doctors in mainland China about the persecution and illegal organ harvesting from living practitioners detained for their beliefs.
“Several messages were sent to doctors involved in organ harvesting, making them aware of the true situation,” she said. Some replied, “Thank you. Now I am aware of what is really going on.” Some of them even stopped doing transplant operations after understanding the source of the “donor” organs.
Da Jin, a transplant specialist working in China, has performed over 3,000 liver transplants. Practitioners repeatedly tried to reach him by phone but were unsuccessful for several days.
Mei Hui sent Da Jin a text message to keep in contact. She wrote, “Da Jin, we are from the same city. Please don't avoid my phone calls. I am trying to let you know the true situation! You are harming yourself by being involved in live organ harvesting. Seeing your photo on the list reduced me to tears. You are such a excellent young man, one of society's best. But you are committing murder. I am telling you this, because I hope you escape being implicated and can save yourself.”
Later, Mei Hui called Da Jin again. This time, Da Jin answered, saying, “I understand now. Thank you.”
Ms. Liao Yanmei talked about making phone calls between September 22, 2014 and August 15, 2015, when her team called over 900,000 numbers to reach lawyers in the mainland. About 5,400 lawyers quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations during that period of time. Some of them even left memorable messages.
One lawyer in the Guangxi Autonomous Region, who had quit the CCP years ago, said that he defended practitioners in China. A lawyer in Shandong Province said that he helped Falun Gong practitioners to persuade people to quit the Party.
Ms. Chen Fengfang started to raise awareness of the persecution online in 2002. Between 2007 and June 2015, she had persuaded 24,000 people to quit the CCP. She said, “Falun Dafa practitioners in China have safety concerns, but they are still trying to let people know the facts about Falun Dafa. We practitioners overseas should work even harder.”
Ms. Chen said that one Internet user denied being a member of either the Youth League or the Young Pioneers. Ms. Chen told him about how Falun Dafa is practiced around the world and how practitioners in China were being killed for their organs. One day, the user said, “Now I understand.” The following day, he quit the Youth League and the Young Pioneers.
Another recipient said, “Thanks for the software you gave me to reach the outside world. Now I know the truth. I read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and many articles on the Epoch Times, and I've watched NTDTV. I'm stunned! I now believe what Falun Dafa practitioners say.” He quit the CCP.
Mei Lian mentioned that other practitioners prepared many articles to talk to people online, and that what one user learns from the outside world will be spread by word of mouth. Many people are able to learn the truth this way. One person who understood the facts even started to encourage others to quit the CCP. Another user, after quitting the CCP, told his schoolmates and colleagues about the persecution. He persuaded 80 to 90 people to quit the CCP.
Many practitioners come to Taiwan from other countries to talk to tourists from the mainland about the persecution at tourist attractions during the holidays. Ms. Lin Huiyi has done this for four years.
She told three Chinese men boarding a bus, “The Tiananmen self-immolation was a hoax.” With a display board in her hand, she said, “Practitioners are still being killed for their organs. It's important to quit the CCP to have a safe future.” One of the men listened carefully and agreed to quit before the bus left.
On another occasion, a young man from China read the display board and said, “I'm fully aware of the situation.” Ms. Lin realized that the young man had not quit the CCP and suggested he use the pseudonym "Zihao" to quit. The man was surprised, because Zihao was his real name.
Ms. Xu Lifeng tried to talk to several visitors from Changchun, China. At first they ignored her, but she didn't give up. She said, “We are simply telling people about the persecution of Falun Dafa.”
Finally she said, “Good and evil are always rewarded accordingly...You are all good people, and I want you to have good future. I'm telling you this for your benefit.”
One of the visitors said, “Thanks for your kindness. We are aware of the situation now.” Before they left, they all quit the CCP. One of them even asked Ms. Xu to extend his greetings to Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa.
