(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 2 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, at least 44 were illegally arrested, 1 was detained for suing Jiang Zemin, and the whereabouts of 1 is unknown.

1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wu Yonghua's Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Wu Yonghua distributed Falun Gong informational materials with another practitioner on September 15, 2015. He never returned home. His whereabouts are unknown.

2. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Pan Ying Detained

Officers from the Jiaohe Domestic Security Division handcuffed Ms. Pan Yin and took her to the Jilin City No. 3 Detention Center on September 12, 2015.

3. [Wuji County, Hebei Province] Ms. Yue Jun Arrested

A county middle school teacher, Ms. Yue Jun, was arrested by officers from the Chengguan Police Department for telling people about Falun Gong in a park on September 17, 2015.

4. [Qinzhou City, Guangxi Autonomous Region] Mr. Li Yuhui Arrested

Mr. Li Yuhui from Xiniujiao Town, Qinnan District, was arrested outside his home on September 18, 2015 by officers who were staked out there. The officers were from the Qinzhou City 610 Office, Qinzhou City Police Department, and the Xiniujiao Town Police Station.

5. [Chongqing] Over 20 Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the Changshou District Police Department and the Duzhou Town Police Station arrested over 20 practitioners on the morning of September 17, 2015.

Those whose names have been verified include: Mr. Huang Zexun, Mr. Liu Zhiming, Ms. Zhang Xiaoli, Ms. Chen Zhongyun, Mr. Xiang Ruidong, Ms. Zhang Shaohua, Ms. Liao Shulan, Mr. He Boshu, and Ms. Luo Shuqin.

Mr. Liu Zhiming and his wife Ms. Zhang Xiaoli have remained in custody. The other practitioners were released.

6. [Yanggu County, Shandong Province] Mr. Sun Zhaoxian and Ms. Zhao Gecun Detained for Suing Jiang Zemin

Mr. Sun Zhaoxian and Ms. Zhao Gecun from Ziludi Village were arrested on September 15, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. Both practitioners are in the Xihu Detention Center.

7. [Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Xiang Taonu Arrested

Ms. Xiang Taonu, 65, was arrested on September 18, 2015, by Chaoyang Police Station officers for distributing Falun Gong informational materials.

8. [Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Chen Xiuping Detained

Ms. Chen Xiuping was arrested on September 13, 2015. She is now in a detention center.

9. [Qian'an County, Jiling Province] Ms. Chen Fuyun Detained

Ms. Chen Fuyun was arrested on September 1, 2015, and is being held in the Qianguo County Detention Center.

10. [Liquan County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Chen Qiaoqiao Detained

Ms. Chen Qiaoqiao was arrested by officers from the Xuelu Police Station in Qian County on September 18, 2015, for distributing Falun Gong informational materials. She is in the Qian County Detention Center.

11. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Fifteen Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the Wanbolin 610 Office ordered subordinate police stations to arrest 15 practitioners on the afternoon of September 10, 2015.

The 15 practitioners are: Ms. Cao Aixiu, Ms. Zhang Yan, Ms. Shi Yumei, female practitioner Pinger, Ms. Wang Ziqin, Ms. Xu Jinying, Ms. Run Hua, Ms. Ji Delian, Ms. Wu Guorui, Ms. La Xiang, Mr. Xue Fugui, Mr. Cao Zhanqing, Ms. Cao Chunxiang, Ms. Zhang Hongying, and Ms. Cheng Xiulan.

Eleven of the practitioners arrested were released for health reasons. Mr. Cao Zhanqing, Ms. Wang Ziqin, Ms. Zhang Hongying, and Ms. Cheng Xiulan are now in the Yangjiayu Detention Center in the Dongshan area.
