(Minghui.org) My name is Ji Shouling, and I am a Falun Gong practitioner in my 60s from Niugenshu Village in Shandong Province. I was arrested because I filed a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin with the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme People's Court.
Yu Zhenggao, the director of the Haiyang 610 Office and three police officers appeared at my home on September 26, 2015.
“You filed a criminal compliant against Jiang Zemin, and sued me as well,” said Yu.
He handcuffed me while the officers ransacked my home and confiscated four photos of Master Li, the founder of Falun Gong, along with Falun Gong books and truth-clarification materials. I was taken by force to the Xiaoji Town Police Station where I was held for a day.
They tried to take a blood sample, and I resisted. They then dragged me to a small cell, and shackled me. I could not move. They again tried to draw blood, and I continued to resist. It took them a half hour to obtain a blood sample.
Because I did not cooperate, Yu dragged me by my hair and threw me to the ground. He kicked and beat me. I did not answer any of his questions, so he punched me in the face. I still did not tell him anything.
After Yu left, an officer opened the shackles and told me to leave. I went to the yard of the police station. Yu was sitting in his car. I asked him for my confiscated items, but he shook his head no and drove off. I was 10 miles from my house. I walked home and arrived at around 10:00 p.m.
In 1999, Jiang Zemin, as head of the Chinese Communist Party, overrode other Politburo standing committee members and launched the violent suppression of Falun Gong.
The persecution has led to the deaths of innumerable Falun Gong practitioners during the past 16 years. Many have been killed so that their organs could be sold for transplants. More have been tortured for their belief. Jiang Zemin is directly responsible for the inception and continuation of the brutal persecution.
Although Jiang stepped down as head of the Communist Party in 2002, he has exerted much control through corrupt officials he had appointed.
Under his personal direction, the Chinese Communist Party established an extralegal security organization, the “610 Office,” on June 10, 1999. The organization overrides police forces and the judicial system in carrying out Jiang's directive regarding Falun Gong: ruin their reputations, cut off their financial resources, and destroy them physically.
Chinese law now allows for citizens to be plaintiffs in criminal cases, and many practitioners are exercising that right to file criminal complaints against the former dictator.
