(Minghui.org) The Gucheng Police Station in Nongan County, Jilin Province, has relentlessly persecuted Falun Gong practitioners since 1999. They have intensified their efforts in recent years. Officers from the Domestic Security Division are also deeply involved, arresting and interrogating practitioners and taking them to brainwashing centers.
The Gucheng Police Station has designated cells where practitioners are tortured. The cells are equipped with tiger benchs, electric batons, and other instruments of torture. People who live nearby have often heard screams coming from the police station.
Nine practitioners who were visiting family members and relatives detained in the Nongan County Detention Center on June 5, 2013, were arrested and taken to the Gucheng Police Station They were brutally interrogated for two days, and then officially detained. The practitioners include the oldest daughter of Fu Kuihua, Ms. Cui Guixian, Ms. Cui Ying, Mr. Sun Hongbo, Ms. Chen Lijing, and Ms. Liu Huihong.
Details follow.
Ms. Cui Guixian was tortured by officer Ren Nan of the Gucheng Police Station. Officer Lu Ming kicked her and broke her nose when she tried to use her cell phone. He then stomped on her phone and destroyed it.
Tang Ke, head of the Domestic Security Division, slapped Ms. Cui. Ms. Cui said to him, “It will not benefit you if you keep beating me!” Tang yelled, “I’m not afraid of karmic retribution!” and continued to slap her.
Another officer tortured Ms. Cui using the “flying an airplane” method. Then they took her photo and a blood sample. [Police often collect blood samples from practitioners to be used in matching organs for organ harvesting.]

Ms. Cui was also interrogated by four officers including Ren Nan and Wei Lai. They handcuffed her hands behind her back and hung her up, then subjected her again to the "flying an airplane" torture.

They lifted her up twice with a axe handle through the handcuffs. They also beat her toes and insteps several times with the axe handle and slapped her.
After Ms. Cui passed out during the hour-long interrogation, they poured cold water over her. Then they poured urine on her and stuffed a cloth soaked with urine into her mouth. They then blew cold air on her with a fan.
After arriving at the police station, Ms. Cui Ying asked to go to the restroom. Officer Tang Ke took her instead to the interrogation room, where two officers from the Changchun City 610 Office took turns punching her face and head.
Then they took Cui Ying to another room, where other officers could observe the torture. They cuffed her hands behind her back and held her down on the floor. They then lifted her up by the handcuffs, causing them to cut into her wrists. They tortured her with the “flying an airplane” method, until she passed out. To revive her, they kicked her and pulled her up by her hair. Tang slapped her around with a water bottle.
The next day, Ms. Cui was taken to a cell on the third floor by several officers, including Lu Mingxuan, head of the Domestic Security Division. Her hands were cuffed behind her back, and she was tortured as on the previous day.
They removed the handcuffs but continued to torture Ms. Cui by placing a plastic bag over her head to suffocate her.

Mr. Sun Hongbo was brutally kicked by officer Zhou Dahai from the Domestic Security Division. Another unidentified officer slapped him repeatedly.
Two officers took Mr. Sun to an interrogation room in the afternoon. They took turns beating him with rods until the rods broke. They then ordered Mr. Sun to sign the interrogation record, which he refused to do. An officer took him to the first floor and beat him with one of the broken rods.
The police tortured Mr. Sun with the “flying an airplane” method in front of his relatives. He cried out in pain from the torture. Mr. Sun was cuffed to a metal chair in the interrogation room throughout the night. The officer on duty said, “You walked in here, but you will be carried out because your bones will be smashed!”
The officers tortured Mr. Sun again the next day. They slapped him, handcuffed him, hung him up, and beat his legs. To keep him from screaming, they stuffed dirty rags into his mouth. They struck his chest with an axe handle and threatened to shock him with electric batons.
Mr. Sun was forced to squat, and they burned his face with cigarette lighters. When he refused to badmouth the founder of Falun Gong, the police began punching him.
Officer Tang Ke handcuffed Ms. Cheng's hands behind her back. He introduced himself: “I’m Tang Ke from the Domestic Security Division. My name was on your Minghui website [on a list of perpetrators of the persecution]. By the way, I beat Yu Changli to death.” He then tortured Ms. Cheng with "flying an airplane." The police also took a blood sample from Ms. Cheng.
Several officers took turns beating Ms. Cheng. Zhou Dahai kicked her in the forehead. She was handcuffed to the leg of a chair throughout the night, unable to stand or lie down. The officer on duty said, “If you don’t confess, you will regret it tomorrow. You walked through the door, but you will be carried out.”

Another officer, Wei Lai, slapped Ms. Yu with a book.
