(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 4 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 22 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province] A Dozen Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Wang Zeming was arrested by officers from the Lianyungang City Police Department, 610 Office, and local police stations on September 17, 2014. The police confiscated his computer, printer, Falun Gong books, informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong, and personal items. He was then held at the Lianyungang City Detention Center for 15 days.

On the afternoon of the same day, Mr. Wang's wife, Ms. Cheng Xiuli, was also arrested and taken to the Lianyungang City Detention Center for a ten-day detention term by officers from the Lianyun District Police Department and the Xugou Police Station.

A dozen practitioners were also arrested on the same day including Mr. Xu Longbiao, Ms. Xia Zhengyan, Ms. Zheng Jun, Ms. Du Xiuju, and Mr. Lu Shanming.

Mr. Zheng Jun is being held at the Nancheng Detention Center in Lianyungang City.

2. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Pang Shu Sentenced

Ms. Pang Shu was sentenced to a four year and six month prison term on September 15, 2014.

3. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Changhai Arrested

Mr. Wang Changhai, 37, was arrested on September 10, 2014.

4. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Two Practitioners Detained

Ms. Li and Mr. Wu were arrested by officers from the Junde Police Station on September 16, 2014. They are being held at the No. 2 Detention Center.

5. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Zhang Yuliang, Ms. Jiang Yuemei, and Ms. Jin Fengying were arrested by officers from the Tielinghe Town Police Station on September 14, 2014 for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked their homes. They are being held at the Mudanjiang City No. 2 Detention Center.

6. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xin Guiqin Arrested

Ms. Xin Guiqin was arrested by officers from the Xingdong Police Station on the morning of September 18, 2014, for distributing Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs. The police ransacked her home.

7. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Yang Xiuying and Ms. He Zongfang were arrested by the 610 Office on the morning of September 10, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were taken to the Hexixinyuan Police Station. Ms. He was released that evening. Ms. Yang was transferred to the Huaihua Detention Center, which refused to accept her because of high blood pressure. She was later released.

Ms. Yang Yuying was arrested by officers from the 610 Office on the morning of September 12, 2014. She was taken to the Tuanjie Police Station and later released.

8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Two Practitioners Sentenced

Ms. Qin Yulan, who was detained at the Yaojia Detention Center, and Ms. Zhou Huimin, having been sentenced to a three year and six month prison term, were transferred to the Liaoning Women's Prison on August 5 and April 1, 2014, respectively.

9. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yi Arrested

Ms. Yi, in her 60s, was arrested and taken to the Nangou Detention Center by officers from the Xintun Police Station on the morning of September 18, 2014.

10. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Xiue Detained

Ms. Liu Xiue was arrested and taken to the Weifang City Detention Center on September 16, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books and informational material about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was later released that evening after the police extorted 9,000 yuan from her family.

11. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Qi Huijie Arrested

Ms. Qi Huijie was arrested and taken to the Chifeng Brainwashing Center on September 19, 2014.

12. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Ms. Tang Min Detained

Ms. Tang Min was arrested on August 15, 2014. She was taken to the Changsha City No. 2 Detention Center on September 2, 2014.

13. [Leiyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Zhang Yingrong Arrested

Ms. Zhang Yingrong was arrested by officers from the Leiyang City Domestic Security Division on September 5, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to the Bailuhu Brainwashing Center in Zhuhui District, Hengyang City by officers from the Leiyang City 610 Office on September 10, 2014.
