(Minghui.org) We live in a small town near the border. Many practitioners in our town go out to talk to people about Falun Dafa and the persecution every day. One time I persuaded 25 people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations in one day.
In speaking to predestined people, we need to practice "tolerance." In the beginning I felt very uncomfortable if someone cursed me, but I could remain calm. Gradually I improved a lot. My heart is no longer moved when that happens. I don't get angry at all. I can reply to the person who cursed me with a smile. You can't tell me Falun Dafa isn't good. Of course Falun Dafa is good!
To save sentient beings, fellow practitioners and I reach out to every corner of our town. You can see us at the farmers market and the supermarket. We use any opportunity to talk to people. We might pick up a hat that dropped and put it back on a kid's head, button clasps for children, and give people change to complete a purchase if they are short of cash. The goal is to get a chance to tell them the truth about Falun Dafa and persuade them to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
Before one Chinese New Year we went to the town center to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil where Falun Gong practitioners were being persecuted. On the way back, we went to the market to buy fish.
I saw a man and a woman standing in front of the fish stand. When I tried to tell them about Falun Dafa and persuade them to quit CCP, an older lady swore at me in a loud voice for no good reason.
Maybe the old forces were trying to interfere with my truth clarification. I was not moved and still smiled, but the fish stand owner was angry. He called out to the older lady, “It's okay not to believe it. Why do you curse her?” He turned to me, “Why don't you get angry, Ma'am? How can you still be in a good mood!” I replied, “I practice Falun Dafa. We do not act like others!” The fish stand owner kept saying, "Dafa is really good. With such remarkable students, I admire it!!"
One time another practitioner and I were talking about Falun Dafa to a passenger on a bus. He was the manager of a small mine. When I mentioned "corruption," he interrupted me and said, “CCP members look respectable on the surface, but they do all sorts of sly things behind the scenes.”
A retiree sitting nearby did not agree and piped up, “The CCP gives me 7,000 yuan per month.” Before he could continue, the manager started to argue with him.
To be honest, I really felt sad listening to the retired man. He had been deceived so badly and he did not even realize it. At the same time I was happy for the manager. Others on the bus listened with great interest.
After the manager and the other man got off the bus at the station, the manager wanted to hit the stubborn retiree. I told him and his colleagues, “Those who know the truth and act against heaven's will are going to regret it one day, but it might be too late. Do not lower yourself to his standards. You did well, and everything will go well for you. If you also repeat, 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. Falun Dafa is good,' you will be more fortunate. Do you want to quit the CCP? It will bring you even more good fortune.”
He and his colleagues were happy to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, and enthusiastically accepted the software to break through the Internet blockade. They thanked me repeatedly.
I once met an elderly man in the city and asked for directions to a certain shop. He was happy to help and said, “You can follow me.” On the way I started to talk with him and explained the truth about Falun Dafa.
He agreed very much with what I said and wanted to be friends. He asked for my phone number, invited me to visit him, and told me his home address.
This Chinese New Year we gave out calendars to clarify the truth. In our area many practitioners went back to their hometowns for the holidays, so there were only two or three of us left. I took a lot of calendars and distributed them to the shops in our area. When possible, I explained the truth of Falun Dafa to them. Most of them quit the CCP. Some thanked me. Of course, there were a few exceptions. They cursed me, but I did not mind.
The community wanted to plant trees in front of my house. Some landscapers came. There was no public restroom since this is a residential area surrounded by residential buildings.
I went to do my grocery shopping and saw a woman with an anxious look. I told her to come to my home to use the restroom. She said she had five or six co-workers who also needed to use a restroom. I said they were all welcome. Of course, everyone who came quit the CCP and got a Shen Yun DVD. They all left my home happy.
When I went downstairs again, the landscape supervisor complained that I did not give him a chance. The next day when I saw him, I clarified truth of Falun Dafa to him. Right away he wanted to quit CCP using his real name.
A 40-year-old man recently asked my advice about buying shoes in front of the shoe counter in a big department store. I said, “You want to buy dark shoes if you wear them to work. Otherwise, buy a light-colored pair.” He agreed.
Since I ran into him, I knew it was a predestined relationship, and I should not miss the opportunity to save him. I wanted to give him a Shen Yun DVD. I was surprised how quickly he turned on me. He grabbed my arm, muttering that he should take me to the police. I had strong righteous thoughts: “I am here to awaken you to the truth. How could you do this?”
Just then, two young men came down the escalator and saw the man restraining me. They yelled at him “Let her go! The older lady gave you something. It's okay if you don't want to take it, but if you don't let her go......” The two came straight toward us, evidently intending to hit him. The man escaped quickly without a word when he saw them coming.
The two young men said, "If he does not want it, we'll take it. Don't be afraid. We will escort you out!" I told them, “You will be blessed for your kindness! Make sure you remember that Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” They were very happy to hear it.
There are too many examples to list. Master has already paved the road for us! As long as you really want to save people, you do not need to think about it too much, just tell people the truth.
One righteous thought will eliminate the evil behind the person. With compassion and peaceful words, most people will quit the CCP and its organizations. It is better to do it with another practitioner, so one person can talk while the other sends forth righteous thoughts. That works out well. In the final stage of Fa rectification, we must advance diligently. We need to fulfill our vows and must be worthy of Master's compassionate and painstaking salvation.
