(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in the Ukraine visited three major historical and resort cities over two weekends in early August 2014 to introduce Falun Gong and raise awareness about the persecution of the practice in China. They especially wished to tell people about the Chinese regime's state-sanctioned crimes of forced organ harvesting from persecuted Falun Gong practitioners.

Handing out informational materials, talking to people about Falun Gong and the persecution, and collecting signatures in Lviv, a historical city in Western Ukraine

Practitioners traveled to several cities in Western Ukraine on August 2 and 3. At Svityaz Resort, Truskavets, the practitioners' Falun Gong exercise demonstration attracted the attention of several tourists who were there to improve their health. The practitioners handed out free exercise instruction DVDs to anyone who wished to learn the exercises.

In Lviv, an ancient historical city, people were eager to sign a petition calling for an end to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) atrocities after learning about the persecution of Falun Gong and especially the forced organ harvesting from persecuted practitioners.

Several people bought the book Zhuan Falun and asked for exercise instruction DVDs. Many enthusiastically thanked the practitioners while others remarked, "You're doing something very important!"

On August 9, practitioners went to Mirgorod, a popular resort city in the Poltava region of Central Ukraine, to introduce Falun Gong. While they were demonstrating the exercises downtown, a woman walked up to them from the beach and announced, “Nearly everyone there is talking about Falun Dafa, so here I am."
