(Minghui.org) Ms. Yu Yeyi, 70, is a Falun Gong practitioner from Shapingba District, Chongqing, and has been illegally detained at the Qianzhugou Brainwashing Center for over a month. The intense brainwashing and mistreatment she has been subjected to has reportedly caused her to be disfigured.

Since she refused to renounce her belief in Falun Gong, she is not allowed to have visitors. Officials at the brainwashing center said that there will be no visitation rights until she “transforms.”

Ms. Yu Arrested and Her Home Ransacked

Ms. Yu was arrested on the afternoon of June 22, 2014, by police officers from the Qixinggang Police Station. She was first taken to the Liudianzi Detention Center in the Yuzhong District.

Officials of the Shapingba 610 Office and Shapingba Residential Committee, along with officer Ma from the Shapingba Police Station, ransacked her home on July 8, after getting her husband to open the door. The police confiscated Dafa books and pictures of the founder of Falun Gong.

Ms. Yu was taken to the Qianzhugou Brainwashing Center on July 9. She has reportedly become disfigured because of mistreatment and her hands tremble uncontrollably.

The Qianzhugou Brainwashing Center is located at the Qianzhugou Camping Resort in Geleshan Township, Shapingba District and is notoriously known as a place to illegally detain and “transform” local practitioners. Director Wang Linyu of the Chongqing City 610 Office is in charge of the brainwashing center.
