(Minghui.org) More than 10 Falun Dafa practitioners in Changchun City, Jilin Province, were targeted during a large-scale arrest on July 18. The arrest was planned by provincial officials and carried out by local police stations who broke into or waited near practitioners' homes to make the arrests. They also hired a large number of temporary workers and security guards to carry out the arrests.
An eyewitness reported to have seen about 10 practitioners taken to the Jida No.4 Hospital (also known as the Automobile Factory Hospital) for physical examinations that morning. The arrested practitioners, except those who were released later that day or the next day for various reasons, have been illegally detained in the No. 2 Detention Center if male, or the Weizigou Detention Center if female.
Two men climbed over a wall and broke into Mr. Sun's home at around 5 a.m. on July 18. When Mr. Sun and their son refused to carry Ms. Zhao to the police car, the police called an ambulance and took Ms. Zhao to the Jida No. 4 Hospital. Worried about his mother's health, their son went along.
