(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Chen Yingyi, in her sixties, was released from Zhejiang Women’s Prison in late 2012. She was illegally arrested again by officers from the Mishixiang Police Station on May 12, 2014, when she was posting informational materials about Falun Gong on the street in Hongzhou City. She was transferred to Liangzhu Detention Center in Hangzhou City.

Because she practiced Falun Dafa, Ms. Chen was arrested and sent to the Hangzhou City Detention Center in 2009, where she was subjected to a variety of tortures. As a result she became unable to stand and walk. She was later sentenced to three years of imprisonment.

During those three years, she was incarcerated in a solitary confinement cell for nearly a year. She became emaciated, her hair turned white, and she became too weak to walk.

Because she always resolutely refused to be “transformed,” Ms. Chen was not eligible for early release, and had to serve the entire three years in prison.

Ms. Chen’s home is next door to the prison, and many police officers who work there are her neighbors. All of them know that she is a good person.
