(Minghui.org) Today's news from mainland China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 25 cities or counties in 12 provinces. According to this report, 10 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 30 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Ms. Feng Caifeng and Mr. Qiu Jianhua were put on trial in May 2014, by the Leizhou City Court without informing their families. Ms. Feng was sentenced to a five-year prison term.

2. [Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Kong Ying Detained

Ms. Kong Ying was arrested by officers from the Anzishan Police Station on the morning of May 30, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was held at the Dalian City Detention Center and then transferred to the Dalian City Brainwashing Center on June 9, 2014.

Ms. Li Min was arrested and taken to a detention center on June 13, 2014.

4. [Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Lin Jiacun Facing a Trial

Mr. Lin Jiacun was due to be tried on June 20, 2014.

5. [Chongqing] Two Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Mi Jialong, 76, and his wife Ms. Tang Tianzhen, 72, were arrested at home by a dozen officers who didn't identify themselves on the morning of June 6, 2014. The police ransacked their home and confiscated approximately 10,000 yuan and other personal items totaling about 10,000 yuan.

Their son, Xiaomi, tried to keep the police from arresting them but to no avail. They choked him and his hands were held behind his back.

Mr. Mi; his wife and son; and their friend, Ms. Li Jiahui, who was visiting, were arrested and taken to the Xietaizi Police Station. Mr. Mi and his son were released that evening. Ms. Tang was taken to a brainwashing center that evening and released on June 10, 2014, because of high blood pressure.

6. [Xuchang City, Henan Province] Three Practitioners' Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Wang Xiuzhen, 60; Ms. Zhang Cuilan, 57; and Ms. Li Qiuju, 55, were arrested by plainclothes officers from the Dengzhuang Town on the afternoon of June 12, 2014, for handing them a Shen Yun Performing Arts DVD. Their whereabouts are unknown.

7. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Gao Yixi Detained

It was confirmed that Mr. Gao Yixi, whose whereabouts had been unknown since June 4, 2014, is being held at the eighth ward of the Mudanjiang City No. 2 Detention Center.

8. [Yaan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Xue Detained

Ms. Wang Xue, arrested on June 6, 2014, is being held at the Duoying Detention Center. She has been handcuffed and forced to wear a prisoner's uniform. In addition, she was not allowed to meet with anyone in the center. She was reportedly put on trial on June 9, 2014.

9. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Ms. Cheng Arrested

Ms. Cheng, an elderly practitioner, was arrested by officers from the Jiangong Police Station on June 6, 2014.

10. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Tong Detained

Ms. Li Tong was arrested on her way to her office by two dozen officers from the Dongming City Police Station, Domestic Security Division, Security Bureau, and 610 Office. The police ransacked her home and confiscated her computer, printer, personal items, cash, and bank book. She is being held at the Benxi City Detention Center.

11. [Beijing] Ms. Jin Xiuxia's Son's Home Ransacked

Ms. Jin Xiuxia lives with her son. Three officers from the Youanmen Police Station in the Fengtai District broke into her son's home on June 5, 2014. While checking identity cards, they saw calendars with messages about the persecution of Falun Gong.

The officers, along with three other officers from the Yuetan Police Station in the Xicheng District, ransacked Ms. Jin's son's home and confiscated Falun Gong books, Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs, and Falun Gong truth-clarification DVDs and brochures about the persecution of Falun Gong.

12. [Tianjin] Mr. Yue Jingnai Detained

Mr. Yue Jingnai was arrested by officers from the Dongjituo Town Police Station on June 12, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was taken to the Ninghe Detention Center that afternoon.

13. [Tuquan County, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Huang Shufen Detained

Ms. Huang Shufen was arrested on the evening of May 29, 2014, for distributing information about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is being held at the Tuquan County Detention Center.

14. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Shang Yuzhi Arrested

Ms. Shang Yuzhi was arrested by about six officers on May 20, 2014 for posting information about the persecution of Falun Gong. Her home was later ransacked.

15. [Houma City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Guo Suling Became Homeless

Ms. Guo Suling became homeless to avoid further persecution.

16. [Xiajin County, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhai Guiying Arrested

Ms. Zhai Guiying was recently arrested by five or six officers from the Xiajin County Police Department and the Xinshengdian Police Station. She was released after they had extorted 10,000 yuan from her family.

17. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Two Practitioners Detained

Mr. Li Guofeng and Mr. Guan Zhongji were arrested by officers from the Cuizhao Police Station on June 10, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Their homes were ransacked that day and all their Falun Gong books were confiscated. The police extorted 500 yuan from them the next day. They are being held in the Mencun Detention Center.

Ms. Liu Ping was arrested on the morning of June 13, 2014, for distributing Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs.

20. [Gezhouba City, Hubei Province] Two Practitioners Detained

Mr. Fan Changhua and Mr. Sun Yong were arrested on the morning of June 6, 2014, for distributing information about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were held for five days and then transferred to the Yichang City Detention Center in Wujiagang District.

Ms. Peng Liumei and Ms. Hu Hanjiao were arrested by officers from the Fenshui Town Police Station on June 13, 2014.

23. [Shanghai] Ms. Zhao Shuping Arrested

Ms. Zhao Shuping, 54, was arrested at her son's home in Shanghai on June 1, 2014.

24. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhu Qiyu Arrested

Ms. Zhu Qiyu, 73, was arrested and taken to a police station by Tian Shengwen and Wang Han from the Liangping County Domestic Security Division and 610 Office on June 11, 2014. The police searched her and confiscated 250 yuan in paper bills with messages about Falun Gong printed on them and truth-clarification materials.

Wang and several officers also ransacked her home and confiscated a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, all their Falun Gong books, an MP3 player, a cassette player, and a multi-function machine worth about 4,500 yuan. They extorted 1,000 yuan from her family. She was released that evening.

25. [Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Su Junyi Arrested

Mr. Su Junyi was arrested on June 13, 2014, and his home was ransacked.

26. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Du Guichao's Whereabouts Unknown

It was said that Mr. Du Guichao was arrested by officers from the Longfeng District Police Department on June 6, 2014. His whereabouts are unknown.

27. [Jincheng City, Shanxi Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Song Hongbin, 40, was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Cheng District Police Department on the afternoon of June 10, 2014. Ms. Qin, 75, was arrested along with Mr. Song. The police then ransacked Mr. Song's home. Ms. Qin was released the evening,, but Mr. Song is still being held in the Cheng District Detention Center.

28. [Beijing] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhao Haiying, 72; Ms. Wang Guizhi, 58; and Ms. Tian Lanying were arrested by officers from the Tiantangongyuan Police Station on the afternoon of June 9, 2014.

Officers from the Dongcheng District and Chaoyang District Yangzha Police Station took Ms. Wang back to her home, ransacked it, and confiscated a copy of Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Gong, and an MP3 player.

Ms. Zhao and Ms. Tian were released. Ms. Wang might be held in the Daxing Detention Center for 10 days.
