(Minghui.org) One morning, two practitioners and I were standing beside a crosswalk distributing truth-clarifying materials and helping people to understand the importance of quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. We were almost done when two security people came and arrested us.
They forced us to sit still beside the road and then called some officers for back up. We were very calm and were not scared at all. I sent forth righteous thoughts in my heart and indicated to the other practitioners to do the same. I said to Master in my mind, “Master, we got into trouble, please protect us.”
I then clarified the truth to these two security people: “I didn't do anything illegal, why do you arrest us? Don't you know that Falun Gong has spread all over the world, and people from over 100 countries practice it. Only the CCP persecutes Falun Gong. What you are doing right now is not only bad for you, but also for your families. I will definitely not go to the police station with you.”
I continued to send forth righteous thoughts. After a while, I opened my eyes and saw the two security people standing still. They had even turned their heads away from where we were sitting.
Immediately I realized that this was my chance to escape. While I was running away, I kept on saying, “Hold them still, hold them still!” Since the other two practitioners didn't run with me, I ran into a nearby hospital and tried to rescue them by sending forth righteous thoughts.
Two hours after I returned home, I heard that my fellow practitioners had been released from the police station.
They told me what happened: After I ran away, the security people thought that something was wrong and kept on asking, “Where is she? Where is the third one? It is impossible.....” They ran back and forth, but to no avail.
The interesting thing about the incident was that the officers couldn't run very far. After a very long time, a police officer arrived in a patrol car and brought the practitioners to the local police station.
The practitioners were told to sit in the hall and to turn over all the truth-clarification materials. More than 10 officers surrounded them, with each grabbing some materials before going back to their offices to read. No one was left to stand guard.
After a while, one of the officers came out and told them, “Go back to have lunch.” He even told the security people to send the practitioners back home.
The officer who came in the police car happened to know a Falun Gong practitioner. He went to this practitioner's home that afternoon and said: “I do not want to hurt any practitioners at all. I know Falun Gong is good. However, the security people kept calling and asked me to arrest them. Those three practitioners should leave quickly whenever they finish distributing the materials and shouldn't stay in one place too long. Be smart! I promise I will never interfere with such things any more....”
