1. [Jiansanjiang, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Ding Huijun Arrested

Ms. Ding Huijun was arrested in Harbin City on the afternoon of May 12, 2014. Liu Changhe, Domestic Security Division head of the Police Department affiliated with the Jiansanjiang Reclamation Bureau, and others made the arrest. They showed an arrest warrant issued from the Jiamusi Procuratorate. The excuse they used was that they werer taking Ms. Ding to the Jiamusi Central Hospital for a check-up.

2. [Shanghai] Ms. Xiong Huizhen and Ms. Zhang Xiuying Arrested

Ms. Xiong Huizhen, 58, who lives on Yanjizhong Road, and Ms. Zhang Xiuying, 60, who lives on Shuangyang Road, were arrested by officers from the Yanji Police Station for telling people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of May 9, 2014. Ms. Xiong is being held in the Yangpu District Detention Center. Ms. Zhang's whereabouts are unknown.

3. [Suining County, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Tong Dejun and Ms. Qiu Mei Detained

Officers from the Liangji Town Police Station in Suining County broke into and ransacked the homes of Mr. Tong Dejun and Ms. Qiu Mei. Both practitioners were taken to the Zhulou Detention Center. The officers took Dafa books from Mr. Tong's home.

4. [Qingzhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yan Xiling Faces Trial

Ms.Yan Xiling was scheduled to be tried on May 15, 2014.

5. [Pingba County, Guizhou Province] Ms. Chen Jinhua and Ms. Dai Dingying Detained

Ms. Chen Jinhua and Ms. Dai Dingying were taken to the Pingba County Detention Center.

6. [Minhe County, Qinghai Province] Mr. Bao Yuanjin Arrested

Mr. Bao Yuanjin, former director of the Power Branch affiliated with the Minhe County Magnesium Plant, was arrested recently. His home was ransacked.

7. [Beijing] Elderly Practitioner Xu Dafang Officially Placed Under Arrest

Ms. Xu Dafang, nearly 70, from the Fengtai District, was arrested on March 12, 2014. Recently, her family received a notification of her being officially placed under arrest. Her husband, over 70, was left on his own.

8. [Tianjin] Ms. Zhang Xiaoling Held in Nankai Detention Center

Several officers from the Xingnan Police Station in the Nankai District, Tianjin, broke into and ransacked Ms. Zhang Xiaoling's home on Chenglin Lane in the Hedong District. They took a computer and paper bills with facts about Falun Gong written on them. They arrested Ms. Zhang, who is now being held at the Nankai District Detention Center.

9. [Shanghai] Mr. Yan Xihong Held in Minhang Detention Center

More than 20 officers from the Shanghai Police Department broke into and ransacked Mr. Yan Xihong's home on the evening of May 11, 2014. They took Dafa books, a computer, a printer, cell phones, cash, deposit receipts, and other personnel belongings. The officers arrested Mr. Yan, his wife Ms. Lu Ling, and their three kids. Mr. Yan was taken to the Minhang Detention Center at 1 a.m. that night. Ms. Lu and the three children were released on May 12, 2014.
