(Minghui.org) One Falun Gong practitioner in China who is in her seventies, but looks very young, often talks to people about Falun Gong. She has helped around 7,000 people to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates.
She and a fellow practitioner were speaking to people about Falun Gong and the persecution at around 7:30 a.m. on May 19, 2013, and two people had just agreed to quit the CCP. A police car suddenly pulled up behind them, and two officers jumped out saying, “What are you carrying in your handbags? You need to go to the police station with us.” They then confiscated the practitioners' handbags.
Facing this situation, the practitioners held no fear at all. They just thought, “These two police officers are so young, it's really a pity that they don't know the true facts about Falun Gong. We can't allow them to commit crimes against Falun Gong. They should have the chance to choose a better future for themselves.”
One practitioner said, “Young men, as soon as you asked us to get in the police vehicle, I was feeling terrible and wanted to cry. Why? Because we practitioners are all good people. Nowadays, stealing, robbing, cheating, and deceiving is happening everywhere. Those of us who practice Falun Gong are trying to be good, and are saving people. Falun Gong helps individuals, families, and society with good morals. It has spread throughout the world and there are practitioners in over 100 countries and regions. Only the CCP has banned the practice. As you can see, I am 71 years old and in perfect health!” Hearing this, the two officers and the onlookers smiled.
At that time, she thought, “We still have not completed out task.” Thus, the two practitioners just walked away, forgetting that their handbags had been confiscated.
After walking some distance, she turned around and suddenly saw the police vehicle following them. She thought, “Maybe the police haven't completely understood the truth about Falun Gong.” She then walked towards the police vehicle, intending to continue talking about Falun Gong. Unexpectedly, the two officers got out of the vehicle and said, “We're following you just to return your keys.”
It turned out that the police were simply worried that the practitioners would not be able to open their doors when they returned home, so they came to return their handbags.
