(Minghui.org) Mr. Jing, over 60 years old, was sentenced to seven years imprisonment in May 2013, and detained in District No. 4 of Wumaping Prison in Leshan City.
Mr. Jing has been repeatedly persecuted due to his belief of Falun Gong since 1999. He was sent to a forced labor camp for one and a half years for delivering Falun Gong informational materials in 2007 and fired from his job.
Mr. Jiang and Practitioner Yang Yifan Arrested
Captain Jiang Mingquan, Wang Chengbing, and police from Ziyang City Domestic Security Division broke into the residence of practitioner Yang Yifan at 7 a.m. on October 13, 2012. Mr. Jing was there at the time.
The police took everything, including Falun Dafa books, informational materials about Falun Gong, printing supplies, money with Falun Gong information written on it (exact amount unknown), computers, printers, several copiers, and an ink cartridge. The witness said that the police took away a truckload of belongings.
Mr. Jing and Yang Yifan were taken to Ziyang City Er'ehu Brainwashing Center.
Arrested Again and Sentenced
In early November 2012, captain Jiang Mingquan and others broke into Mr. Jing's home, confiscating 1000 yuan cash, four Dafa books, as well as a laptop and printer used by his son for work.
Mr. Jing was taken to Anyue County Detention Center on February 5, 2013. His arrest order was not issued until March 2013, and his sentence of seven years' imprisonment was not issued until May of 2013. The court only notified one of his sons to be at the hearing, and the sentencing had already ended when his wife arrived.
Mr. Jing's Background
Mr. Jing Changxu is a veteran who joined the army in the 1970s. After leaving the army, he was hired as a substitute teacher in his hometown. He began to practice Falun Dafa in 1998, strictly following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and was a conscientious teacher.
His students had high moral character and top academic achievements. He was praised by his Mingyang Village Primary School students and parents, other community schools, and village cadres.
The persecution of Falun Gong was instigated by Jiang Zemin 15 years ago, and practitioners continue to be arrested daily, robbed by the CCP, and given sentences based on fabricated evidence.
