(Minghui.org) Hundreds of Falun Gong practitioners held a rally and a grand parade in Toronto's Chinatown on March 22, 2014, demonstrating the beauty of the practice, and exposing the communist regime’s 15-year persecution of Falun Gong in China.

Mr. Li is from Liaoning Province, China and works in Chinatown. He videotaped the entire parade, and said, “The persecution of Falun Gong is severe in Liaoning. I’ve been in Toronto for two years and this is the first time I've seen a parade this large. I want to record it so that more people from China can learn about Falun Gong's popularity outside of China.”
Cindy arrived in Toronto a few months ago from China. This was her first time seeing a Falun Gong parade, “I learned about Falun Dafa from this parade. The media in China all slander Falun Gong. I think Falun Gong is great and have been taking pictures.”
Mr. Wang came from Shandong two years ago. He still remembers when the persecution of Falun Gong in China began in 1999. His mother practiced Falun Gong, and the police often harassed her. He said, “Many Falun Gong practitioners disappeared for no reason. It’s true.” He supports the practitioners’ efforts to call for an end to the persecution, “Everyone should be part of it and stand up against the persecution.”

Sergio Freigas works in Chinatown. He and his friends enjoyed watching the parade together. Sergio said, “Everyone should be allowed to have freedom of speech and belief. I know what they want from the parade. I will support them and learn more about it online.”
Mohammed Abdul went out to the street to take pictures of the parade while he was at work. “I like this group of people. Falun Gong is great and people in Toronto like them.” “I feel very happy just watching them. These are good people. This group has inherited traditional Chinese culture. I am happy for them.”
Thoi Nguyen has lived in Canada for 30 years and is retired. He has seen the Divine Land Marching Band many times. “Their presentation is very good. I like the music they play. The parade gives us a good time.”
