(Minghui.org) Searching for the owner of a bag someone left in my taxi gave me the opportunity to tell all kinds of people the facts about Falun Gong.

The bag's safe return to its owner, which was recounted again and again, gave everyone who heard about it a favorable impression of Falun Gong practitioners. Actions speak louder than words.

Here's how it happened.

A few days before the Chinese New Year, I was driving a taxi. I took good care of my passengers and told them the facts about Dafa. Lots of my passengers knew the facts about the situation.

When I cleaned the car the next day, I discovered a bag. A passenger must have forgotten it and must have been very worried. I looked inside for a clue that could direct me to the owner. I am a cultivator, so it must have had something to do with my cultivation. I thought: Why not use this opportunity to clarify the facts about Dafa while I looked for the owner? I drove to the station and asked the other drivers if they could help me find who had left the bag in the taxi.

Two days later, almost the New Year, I still had not heard anything. I thought that the owner must be worried and I asked Master for help: I wanted to clarify the facts about Dafa, while looking for the owner and to verify the wonder of Dafa. Right after that, I remembered that it might be someone from Xiaochen Village.

I drove to the village, which has two streets and all of 2,000 inhabitants. I went to the south side first and stopped at the most crowded area. I got out and said, “Hello, folks. Several days ago, someone from your village took my taxi and left an item in my car. Could you please help me find the owner?”

The villagers looked at me, then at each other. One of them looked at me in disbelief, saying, “Do good people like you still exist nowadays?” I told them, “Don't worry, I am a Falun Dafa practitioner. In this day and age, only Dafa practitioners would do this.” Another villager said, “I heard that Falun Gong practitioners are good people. You may want to check out the east side of town to see if the person you are looking for is there.”

I turned around and drove to the east side of the village and said, “Several days ago, someone from your village took my taxi and forgot something in my car. Would you help me look for the owner?” A middle aged man was very moved, “Amazing! You took a special trip just to look for the owner!” I told him, “I am a Falun Dafa practitioner and live by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.” I heard the bystanders saying to each other: “Falun Gong practitioners are really good! If everyone would behave like Falun Gong practitioners, our society would be good again!” Someone told me to go to the north side of the village and ask there.

I drove to the north side and did the same.

I had done what I had set out to and clarified the facts, but still could not find the owner. I wondered, "Where did I go wrong, where was my loophole?" I realized that I had not talked to the Party secretary of the village yet.

Guided by the villagers, I easily found the secretary, Mr. Liu. He learned that I was a Dafa practitioner looking for the owner of an item left in my car. He was deeply moved. He turned on the loudspeaker and broadcast to the entire village: “Attention. Whoever lost an item in a taxi several days ago, come to the village office to pick it up.”

He announced it three times, until everyone was talking about it. As I waited for the owner, I told the secretary that Falun Gong practitioners are good people and that Falun Gong already has spread to over 100 countries. I said, “Whenever you see people distributing informational material about Dafa and talking to people, please do not disturb them.” He replied, “Citizens have freedom of belief. I will not bother them at all.”

We were having a good conversation when a middle aged woman came running. “Yes, yes, it is mine," she said. "I knew I would get it back. You were telling us 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.' I am truly convinced today. Thank you very very much!” I said, “You should thank the master of Falun Gong. It is He who taught us to be this way.”
