(Minghui.org) Editor's note: A reader in Guanghan City, Sichuan Province, recently wrote to the Minghui website, thanking Falun Dafa for saving her younger brother from death after a potentially fatal accident. Her letter is included below.
My brother works for a construction company in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. He fell from the 18th floor of a building while working during the summer of 2011. Thanks to several layers of safety nets, he was not immediately killed, but was rendered unconscious. His coworkers took him to the hospital right away.
After two days of emergency treatment, the doctors saw no improvement, and concluded that he could not be treated further, and would soon die. Refusing to do more, they advised us, his family, to take him home and prepare for his funeral.
After taking him back to Sichuan from Guangdong, we immediately contacted a major hospital in the capital city of Chengdu. Seeing that my brother was unlikely to recover from his life-threatening injuries, that hospital would not admit him.
Disappointed, we returned home. A doctor who practiced Chinese medicine in a nearby clinic came and examined my brother thoroughly. He shook his head and said, “He can still breathe a little, but there is no detectable pulse. It's hopeless.”
I could not hold back my tears any longer. My brother was only in his thirties. How could he die like this? Who would take care of his young child?
In tears, I suddenly recalled my aunt who lived close by. Her 8-year-old granddaughter, Yingzi, had been hit by a motorized tricycle a year earlier. One wheel had driven over her neck and broke her clavicle. The doctor said it would take at least three days before Yingzi could leave the emergency room, and everyone was worried. But after my aunt said something to Yingzi, she re-gained consciousness and sat up in a few minutes. Three days later, she went back to school. Why not ask her for help?
I went to my aunt and told her what happened. She said that many people had been deceived about Falun Gong by the Communist Party’s hate propaganda. By knowing the truth, supporting what was right, and quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), we would be miraculously blessed.
When my aunt arrived at my house, we shared this with a dozen family members, relatives, and friends who had come to visit my brother. My aunt explained to them that one would be blessed and have a better future by courageously supporting what is right. She suggested that we say together, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
We believed what she said and followed her advice. Half of us also quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
Not long after, my sister-in-law noticed that my brother’s pale nails had regained some color. I touched his wrist and could feel a pulse. We were very encouraged and continued to recite the words my aunt told us.
By early morning, my brother’s breathing and facial expression had returned to normal. He was also able to sit up. He was fully recovered three days later. It was indeed a miracle.
When my brother went out several days later, a neighbor was shocked to see him, “I heard you were dying. Is this real? Are you a ghost?”
My brother smiled and said, “I didn't die. Falun Dafa saved me.”
After hearing about my brother's experience, many people were impressed, and some even began to practice Falun Dafa.
Almost three years have passed, and my brother has been able to work ever since. We are very grateful for Falun Dafa and its founder.
