Doctor: “Congratulations! You've Won the Lottery!”

December 24, 2014 |   By a Falun Gong practitioner in China

(Minghui.org) During these years of practicing Falun Gong, I have seen many miraculous things happen to me and to other practitioners. In fact, if someone fully supports Falun Gong in China, where it is severely suppressed, he or she will be blessed for his righteousness. Below is something that happened to my brother-in-law.

As a middle-level corporate manager, my brother-in-law is very strong-minded. Although I had told him about the bad things the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has done and recommended that he quit the Party for a better future, he was very stubborn and did not agree until I had talked to him about it more than ten times.

About a month ago at work, he suddenly got dizzy and nauseated, then started to vomit and sweat. He was taken to a hospital and told he was having a heart attack. He was transferred to urgent care and the doctor told him not to get out of bed for three days. The doctor connected him to all kinds of monitors and scheduled him for heart stent surgery one week later.

Several family members including me hurried to the hospital. I said to my brother-in-law, “You know, a person will be rewarded for supporting what is right. How about reciting, 'Falun Dafa is good' and 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good?' You probably wouldn't need the surgery anymore if you did.”

He looked at me quietly and did not say yes or no.

Recalling his stubbornness, I continued, “See, we all know the human body is a very delicate, complex system. Inserting a foreign part might mess up the entire system. You will be just fine if you trust my words. Plus, you wouldn't need to worry about side effects.”

He still did not say anything. But seeing that he was calm and agreeable, I knew there was hope.

After a thorough examination, it was confirmed that he'd had a heart attack, and there was a 90% chance that he needed the surgery. I still visited him every day and reminded him to recite the two phrases. He did not say anything, as if he had acquiesced to it.

But things did not go as smoothly as I had expected. One day he said to my sister, “Your sister told me to recite those two phrases and I would just fine without the surgery. But how can I be sure? Since the doctor said there was a 90% chance that I needed a stent, I think we'd better listen to the doctor.”

I knew he was not convinced, but I did not want to give up. Every day I continued to remind him to say the phrases. The day before his scheduled surgery, I assured him, “You know me well and you've seen many of our family members benefit from the practice. Please, wholeheartedly recite 'Falun Dafa is good', Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.' This will definitely be good for you. Even if you still need a stent, you will recover much better.”

He looked at me with a smile, and nodded his head seriously.

When he was pushed into the operating room, I told him again, “Please remember my words!”

After an X-ray was taken before the surgery, a nurse asked the family to come in. With excitement and a smile, the chief surgeon pointed to a video monitor on his desk, “The blood vessel is now wide open with normal blood flow. It is totally different from his earlier exam results. I can't explain it. I can only say, 'Congratulations! You have won the lottery!'”

We were all very happy and took my brother-in-law back to his room. When other patients heard about it and asked us what had happened, I told them and explained the reason behind it.

My brother-in-law was discharged from the hospital the next day. He is now more firm in believing “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”

Although the doctor prescribed him four weeks of sick leave, he returned to work after two days and was just fine.
