Resisting Interrogation with Master's Words

December 17, 2014 |   By a practitioner in China

(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners are often forced to go through an interrogation, sign papers, and are fingerprinted and photographed after being arrested. They are then held in detention. I would like to share my recent experience in disintegrating further persecution after my illegal arrest.

I was carrying a lot of material about Falun Dafa at the time of my arrest, which usually resulted in serious persecution.

My understanding is that we must use the Fa, i.e., Master's original words, to break through the unlawful interrogation of the police. Even though we might still be detained, we build a foundation for disintegrating any further persecution, such as being held for a long time in a brainwashing center or prison.

When a police officer asked my name, I answered, “My Teacher told me:

“No matter what the situation, do not cooperate with the evil’s demands, orders, or what it instigates.” (“Dafa Disciples’ Righteous Thoughts are Powerful” from Essentials for Further Advancement II)

I must listen to my Teacher.”

The police then said nothing.

I was next directed to sit for a photo. I repeated Master's same words, which I told the police I must follow. I refused to allow my photo to be taken and did not sign anything or let my fingerprints be taken, before I was taken to a detention center.

In the detention center, I refused to wear a prison uniform, to line up with other prisoners, or to attend morning or evening roll call. I also refused to read detention center regulations and would not attend a daily study group.

When the guards attempted to torture me as punishment for not cooperating, I read Teacher's Fa to them. They eventually gave up.

On my release date, as part of normal procedures in the detention center, I was requested to sign some papers and be fingerprinted before I could be released.

I watched several practitioners sign before they were picked up by their families. I was the last person, and when the guard looked at my interrogation record, there was written Teacher's words:

“No matter what the situation, do not cooperate with the evil’s demands, orders, or what it instigates.” (“Dafa Disciples’ Righteous Thoughts are Powerful” from Essentials for Further Advancement II)

The guard said helplessly: "You can go, no need to sign."

With Master's protection, I walked out of the detention center in an open and honorable manner, unblemished.

During the whole process of resisting the persecution, I always remained calm, rational, showing no hatred or complaint, but only compassion.

This is my limited understanding, please kindly point out any mistakes.
