1. [Beijing] Ms. Ye Cuiping Detained

Ms. Ye Cuiping from the Haidian District was arrested on October 11, 2014. She is being held in the Haidian Detention Center.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Song Shuchun Detained

Ms. Song Shuchu from the Shahekou District was arrested by officers from the Hongqi Police Station for distributing calendars with information about Falun Gong on it in Wanjia Market.

3. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Bian Lichao Tortured in Prison

Mr. Bian Lichao, a physical education teacher at Tangshan Middle School, was sentenced to 12 years in prison. He is being held in Shijiazhuang Prison where guards have tortured him repeatedly and tried to force him to renounce his belief. He was deprived of sleep, subjected to brainwashing, and not allowed to see visitors, make phone calls, mail letters, or communicate with others.

4. [Xiaogan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Chen Guiling Detained

Chen Xudong and other officers from the Anlu Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Chen Guiling on October 20, 2014. She is being held in a brainwashing center located at the Committee of Disciplinary Inspection on Jinqiu Avenue in Chuyue Residential Quarters.

5. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Twenty-Seven Practitioners Arrested

Twenty-seven practitioners were arrested on October 21, 2014. Ms. Zhou Jinye, 60; Ms. Lu Na, 30; and Ms. Guan, 80, were arrested at their homes.

6. [Jiutai City, Jilin Province] Mother and Daughter Arrested

Ms. Li Jianying and her daughter Ms. Sun Wenying were arrested at their home in mid October 2014.

7. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Lu Guixiang Arrested

Ms. Lu Guixiang from Nanshanzhuang in the Jinzhou District was arrested on October 16, 2014, for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong near her home. Her home was ransacked, and her computer, printer, and Falun Gong books were confiscated.

8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yu Rongguang Arrested

Ms. Yu Rongguang from Changxingdao in Wafangdian was arrested by officers from the Changxingdao Police Department and the Dalian 610 Office on October 16, 2014. Her computer and MP3 player were confiscated.

9. [Tianjin] Mr. Zhang Chengxiu and Mr. Zhao Xiuyuan Detained

Mr. Zhang Chengxiu and Mr. Zhao Xiuyuan from Ninghe County were arrested on October 22, 2014. Both are being held in the Ninghe Detention Center. Mr. Zhang is being held for 15 days, and Ms. Zhao for 7 days.

10. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xiang Guoqiong Detained

Ms. Xiang Guoqiong from Gaogongqiao Village in Gaoping Town was followed and arrested by agents from the 610 Office for talking about Falun Gong on October 16, 2014. Her home was ransacked and copies of Nine Commentaries on Communist Party, informational materials about Falun Gong, and several hundred yuan were confiscated. Ms. Xiang is being held in the Hexing Brainwashing Center.

11. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Xiulian Tried

Ms. Wang Xiulian was arrested on April 25, 2013. She was recently tried after being held for 18 months.
