(Minghui.org) In 2012, my daughter got married, my son passed the college entrance examination, and I started to practice Falun Dafa.
Soon after my daughter married, she suggested that I stay with them. That way if she had a baby, I would be available to help. At that time, I was suffering from a serious nasal inflammation and my nose kept running. In the evenings my nose gave me bad headaches and I couldn't sleep. Sometimes I had to sit up all night.
I wanted to have surgery but my daughter said I should wait and see.
The day after I moved into my daughter’s home, my son-in-law told me, “You don’t need to have surgery. Just read one book and you'll be fine.”
He handed me a copy of Zhuan Falun and described the many amazing things he and my daughter had experienced. I was impressed and wanted to try to practice Falun Dafa.
One day I suddenly realized that my nose inflammation was gone and my neck problem went away after two months of practicing. I felt Dafa was amazing.
I loved practicing Falun Dafa. I saw Master twice in my dreams. One time Master was wearing a formal suit to visit my house. On another occasion Master was sitting on a lotus flower looking at me mercifully.
I kept studying the Fa and practicing the exercises. I became more considerate of others. Before, I was selfish and only thought of myself.
All my younger sisters said that I had changed a lot from how I was before I practiced Falun Dafa.
Twice, my body felt so hot it was like a wall of fire. I touched the heater and found that it was cold.
I went back to my hometown to attend a wedding this summer. A tumor started growing on my upper right eyelid, and it got bigger and bigger. My relatives told me to go to the hospital to have it surgically removed.
I knew that this was a test to see if I believed in Master. I told my youngest sister, “Don’t worry about me. I'll be okay and won't have to go to the hospital. Just wait until the wedding day. My master will certainly remove it for me.”
The growth indeed became smaller that evening and then turned into a small red dot on the wedding day. I experienced the miracle of Dafa again.
I knew many people believed the Chinese Communist Party propaganda, so I decided to tell them the truth about Falun Gong. I met two elderly women in the park and easily convinced them to quit the CCP. That was the first time.
I knew that Master had helped me. Afterward, I kept going out to clarify the truth.
Once when I put up a Falun Dafa sticker in the park, a security man came to tear it off. I thought that since it would help save people, he shouldn't remove it. I asked him to give it back to me and I put it back up on the wall.
An elderly lady was sitting nearby. After she read the sticker, I told her more. She agreed to quit the CCP.
However, my luck seemed to run out after that. For several days I couldn't convince anyone else to quit. I lost confidence and stopped clarifying truth for several days.
I searched within and found that my attachment of zealotry had been aroused, and I hadn't studied the Fa well. The attachment of fear, seeking a comfortable life, and laziness also showed up. I really needed to eliminate those attachments.
One time, I had to return to my hometown. I thought I should use this chance to save more people.
The day after I arrived, I visited one of my relatives to tell them the truth about Falun Dafa. My relative said, “The CCP is rotten and has never done anything good. Please help our family quit!”
The above are my experiences during these past two years of cultivation under Master’s protection. I hope I can cultivate more diligently. If any of my views are inappropriate, please point them out.
