(Minghui.org) It is sad to see truth clarification materials being thrown away, or even people refusing to accept them. These materials have been made through a long process of designing and editing, to final production. Practitioners then put their lives in jeopardy distributing them in places where they risk being reported to police, or arrested and persecuted.
Master recently showed me scenes through my celestial eye, where I saw the real reasons people did not accept the materials. I would like to share these with fellow practitioners.
Master said:
“The tests for you to pass are in fact meant to remove your demon-nature. Nonetheless, from time to time you have used various excuses or Dafa itself to hide it, and failed to improve your xinxing while missing opportunities again and again.
Do you realize that as long as you’re a cultivator, in any environment or under any circumstances, I will use any troubles or unpleasant things you come across—even if they involve work for Dafa, or no matter how good or sacred you think they are—to eliminate your attachments and expose your demon-nature so that it can be eliminated, for your improvement is what’s most important.
If you are able to succeed in improving yourself this way, what you do then, with a pure heart, will be the best and most sacred.” (“Further Understanding” from Essentials for Further Advancement)
As for practitioners who are involved with making truth-clarifying materials, how much do they understand of Master's Fa? How much do they put the Fa into their actions, and how much do they assimilate to the Fa? All these issues are closely related to how the materials have a positive effect, and what greater role they play.
The first scene that Master showed me was the producer's mentality. As they produced truth-clarifying materials, some peoples' hearts weren't pure, some weren't on the Fa, some enjoyed surfing the Internet, and some were thinking about their personal affairs.
Others thought about the karma in their body. They believed that producing more materials amounted to being diligent, and could help their body recover more quickly. Some didn't look inward when conflicts occurred, and used human notions to deal with them. Others were angry and complained to others while making the materials. They regarded making the materials as everyday people's work, not cultivation.
In fact, many errors occurred when making materials with those kinds of mentalities. For example, the printer could easily break down. The old forces exploit the loopholes to interfere with production. When practitioners distributed the materials made with these kinds of mentalities, most people wouldn't accept them or just throw them away.
When making truth-clarifying materials with an impure mind or uncompassionate heart, bad elements would come to the surface of the materials, as matter and mind are one and the same. This is one of the reasons that the old forces can continue interfering with us. They can block the sentient beings from reading the materials. Therefore, the manifestations of everyday people is that they don't want to take it or read it. They may even glance at it with scorn.
Some practitioners regard making materials as a process of saving people. These materials carry the power of the Fa. The old forces are frightened when looking at these materials and don’t even dare to get close to them. These kinds of materials are accepted more by everyday people and have a good effect in saving them.
The mentalities of those who distribute the materials also play important roles. Distributors with pure hearts have better results. If distributor's hearts are pure and compassionate, it can offset the negative elements brought about by producers who had improper mentalities. The pure, kind, and compassionate hearts of the distributors can have a direct impact on saving people right on the spot. It is the same as clarifying the truth face-to-face. People will be saved right there if the practitioner's heart is pure, kind, and compassionate while talking to them.
Until recently, I didn't realize that editing might be responsible for people throwing away materials. I saw with my celestial eye that this step is also crucial, and shouldn't be ignored.
Normally, when a practitioner edits files, his or her heart is quite pure. But when more practitioners work together, their hearts sometimes aren't all on the Fa. Some may feel that their ideas are better than the others. Some practitioners accept only good things said to them. When hearing opposing views, they may not use the opportunity to look inside. They first reject the opposing view, and then find all kinds of excuses to defend themselves. They look at differing opinions as interference. Their excuse is that they were being responsible for the Fa. Some even argue and reject the other. In the end, a large barrier may be formed among them.
Materials edited by practitioners with impure hearts may carry bad messages. The messages aren't on the surface of the truth-clarifying materials, but in the content. The old forces can then take advantage of it. Everyday people don't see it with their eyes, but sensitive people can feel it. The old forces also reinforce those bad substances, so people feel frustrated and don't want to read further, and in the end, they would give up.
Some editors don't take their work seriously for a long time, and don't handle it as a process of cultivation. They even treat the negative feedback as interference, rejecting it all. Everyday people don't take the materials and read them if they were edited with these kinds of mentalities.
Editors are given credit if the truth-clarifying materials save people. Conversely, they must take responsibility if people throw them away.
A practitioner shared that Master gave some practitioners divine pens as Fa implements to validate the Fa during the Fa rectification period. Some practitioners were famous writers in past lives who laid the foundation of literature in history, but have not as yet reached their highest levels of ability.
Some practitioners had a good mentality when they wrote articles, but then argued with practitioners who tried to improve the articles. The other opinions might not be perfect, but the key issue using the opportunity to look inside and treat it as cultivation.
What were the practitioners' first thoughts when others pointed out errors or omissions? Did they put their hearts into defending themselves and blaming others, or did they try to find their shortcomings?
Some practitioners, especially from the literature field, thought that their writing was better than others. If other people had different opinions, their first thought was to blame others or find something wrong with them. Under such circumstances, no matter how good the articles were, their ego filled the words, and the articles lost their ability to save people.
In fact, the conflicts arranged by Master are the best and quickest ways to improve ourselves. As long as we look at things from the Fa and look inside, the works we generate will be excellent and beyond our imagination. The improvement of our skills go along with our xinxing improvement. As long as we improve our xinxing, our wisdom and skills will come out more and more.
What genuinely touches people's hearts isn't literary talent, it is the pure and compassionate heart that is embodied in the simple words. A practitioner's mentality is crucial when making truth clarification materials.
Some practitioners have seen problems in the articles, but they didn't want to offend those who produced the article, and didn't say anything. They may appear to be tolerant or compassionate, but they are also not on the Fa. If everyday people find the problems, it could have a negative effect on Dafa.
Some truth-clarifying materials are very good, but still not perfect, as the mentality is not correct. If every one of us can seize the opportunity and treat this as cultivation, it will make up for deficiencies in other regards. If everyone can reach the state of a pure heart, that will genuinely form one body, and the truth-clarifying materials will play a better role in saving more people.
