Making Truth-clarification Calls Is Not Difficult

(Minghui.org) I work with a group of practitioners who have limited education and are far from eloquent, but we are sincere about saving people.

When Practitioner A made her first call, her voice was shaky, so she wasn't speaking coherently. The person on the other end laughed at her, and said, "Call again after you learn to speak!"

Instead of letting that first experience frustrate her, she went home and memorized the entire truth-clarification transcript, then practiced it over and over. She now speaks fluently and with great compassion, and every week persuades over 60 people to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.

Practitioner B is a shy man, but in order to save people, has picked up the phone and joined the calling team. He was at first so nervous that he forgot all the words and could only say, "Hello."

The man listening was drinking with friends. He said, "Why just say 'hello?!' What do you want to say to me? I'm at a party!" Master saw Practitioner B's keen heart to save people, and helped him. Inspired, B asked, "Did you wear the red scarf when you were a child?" The man said, "Yes."

B said, "When we joined the Young Pioneers, we all swore to devote our lives to it. The CCP has done so many bad things. Unless you quit, when Heaven punishes the CCP, you will be implicated. For your safety, please quit. I'll give you a pseudonym, 'Fortune,' that you can use to quit the CCP and its organizations. This way, you'll be safe. How about it?" The man agreed.

The practitioner was very encouraged by the success of his first phone call. But in the following month, no one that he called agreed to quit. Some of them hung up, and some cursed at him. He was so nervous that he couldn't eat, wondering how he could get people to be willing to listen to him on the phone and agree to withdraw.

One day, after Fa study, he went out for a walk. He saw a busy tea house. He was thirsty and bought a cup of tea. He asked the owner, "Why is your business so good? Is your water different?" The owner said, "The water is the same, but I act differently. When you treat people warmly, speak nicely, and smile more, you business is sure to be good!"

The practitioner immediately understood that Master was giving him a hint. He realized that he should treat those he was calling with more compassion, that they would feel the sincerity and caring in his voice, and would then trust him. He also realized that he was merely reading the transcript in the past, and lacked sincerity. More people now listen to him on the phone, and no one curses at him. He can persuade six to seven people to quit every day, and has become more eloquent.

Practitioner C had just been released from prison, and was keen to save people. She wanted to learn to make truth-clarification phone calls, but she ran into serious interference. As soon as she picked up the phone, her head started to ache. She denied the interference by focusing on why she was calling, and didn't let that stop her. She recited the Fa, sent forth righteous thoughts, endured the pain, and continued.

When her headache disappeared, she got a tickle in her throat and started to cough. As soon as she opened her mouth to talk, she coughed. She also got an itchy rash all over her body. She overcame all this interference, and no longer found it hard to open her mouth. She can now explain the truth easily, and even shows other practitioners how to explain the facts well.

I'd like to mention Practitioner D. She is very experienced in clarifying the truth, and has a personal goal of persuading at least 20 people to quit the Party each day. She once spent an entire day in a vegetable field and persuaded 70 people to withdraw. We were moved when we heard this.

In our group, we learn from each other and encourage one another. We all save people on a daily basis. After years of persevering, we feel that it really is not hard to make truth-clarifying phone calls. The key point is having a heart keen on saving people.
