(Minghui.org) I have been cultivating Falun Gong for 16 years. This cultivation practice has purified my mind and brought me good health.

The Chinese Communist regime began to persecute Falun Gong practitioners in 1999. In 2006, undercover police ransacked my residence, searching every corner. I strongly believed that Master would help me and rectify everything for me, so nobody had the right to persecute me.

I believed that the dozen police officers were at my house that day, not to persecute me, but to learn the truth about Falun Gong. I knew I had to help them, so I followed them around my house to tell them the facts about Falun Gong.

I asked the two who were videotaping to stop so that they would not incur more retribution. I said that practitioners were cultivators who just wanted to be good people. I asked them, "What will happen to those who participate in the persecution when the truth is revealed?"

Someone turned on my MP3 player, and programming from the “World Falun Dafa Radio Station” came through the loud speakers. The police quickly gathered near the speakers to listen. Their minds had been poisoned by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) propaganda, and I realized they had no idea what Falun Gong truly was.

I said, “Falun Gong has been spread to so many other countries, and people in both Hong Kong and Taiwan can practice it unmolested,” I said. “Only the CCP persecutes Falun Gong. You’re fortunate to have come to my home today to hear the truth.”

They began to relax. The one in charge took the MP3 player. He said that he would take it home to listen to Falun Gong and promised to return it later. I told him to play the programs for his family, friends, and colleagues so that they would not be eliminated.

He asked what I meant by “eliminate.” The other officers stopped what they were doing and began to listen to our conversation. I explained that those who slandered and persecuted Falun Gong practitioners would be eliminated, and those who were kind to Falun Gong practitioners would be saved. When they heard this, the police did not touch my Falun Gong books and other materials.

“When disciples have ample righteous thoughts, Master has the power to turn back the tide.” (“The Master-Disciple Bond” from Hong Yin II).

All we need to do is to maintain our solid faith in Master and the Fa. What Master has given us has immeasurable value for people.

When they took me to the police station, I knew that I was there to tell people about Falun Gong. The first thought that came to me was,

“If you are a true practitioner, our Falun will safeguard you. I am rooted in the universe. If anyone can harm you, he or she would be able to harm me. Put simply, that person would be able to harm this universe.” (Lecture One, Zhuan Falun)

They took me to a Domestic Security office and got ready to interrogate me. The person in charge opened his notebook and told me that I had to answer all his questions. I told myself that I was the main character in this drama and that I had to play my role well.

“When did you begin to practice Falun Gong?” he asked.

I answered, “Articles 35 and 36 of the Constitution guarantee us freedom of belief. You don’t have the right to ask me that. I will only talk to you if you treat me as an equal, not as a criminal.”

I begged Master to give me strength and to stop them from interrogating me. Several people came in and asked the interrogator to issue them passports. He let them chat with me before he left.

I knew that Master had given me this opportunity to tell them the truth about Falun Gong to save them. I told them that Falun Gong is now practiced all over the world, and that only by withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations would they be protected.

As soon as the person in charge came back, I said in my mind, “Master, I’ve finished what I should do here, and it’s time for me to go home now.”

He watched me. “Are you sending forth righteous thoughts?”

Smiling, I said, “You’re absolutely right, and you’re so lucky to have seen me sending forth righteous thoughts. Remember to listen to my MP3 player. It’ll help you learn the facts about Falun Gong.”

He released me that day even though he had not gotten any of the information he was seeking out of me.

A few days after I returned home, the entire leadership team of the local police department came to my house.

The chief of police spoke. “We’re here today for Falun Gong. You’re the one we want because we were told that you left Falun Gong materials in our building.”

He was very agitated, but I was not moved at all. I firmly remembered Master’s words,

“Just by staying unaffected you will be able to handle all situations.” ("Teaching the Fa at the Conference in the Midwest-U.S. [1999])

“Can you prove that?” I said. “The materials are very precious, and we practitioners donate our own money to print them. We are suppressed by the CCP and always in danger of imprisonment and forced labor when we make the materials. You have received them free of charge.”

I asked him why the police don’t arrest those who plaster pornography everywhere. “You should let people in our community know what a good role model I am, because I follow ‘Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.’”

The deputy chief asked how I cultivated. I said, “I’m cultivating right now while I'm talking with you. I treat you all as members of my family. I consider others first and treat everyone compassionately. That is cultivation.

“Our ancestors called China the Land of the Divine, because our culture was passed down by divine beings. Cultivators are good people with high moral standards because our minds are purified.”

They asked me about the self-immolation incident on Tiananmen Square. “We all know that gasoline burns very quickly. If the cameras and fire extinguishers had not been set up and ready to go beforehand, those people would have burned to death.”

They nodded in agreement. I continued, “The Tiananmen immolation was staged on orders from the former president of China, Jiang Zemin, to slander Falun Gong.

“An ancient proverb predicts that Heaven will eliminate the CCP. We Falun Gong cultivators risk our lives to make DVDs and informational flyers to help everyone. Did we do anything wrong? Did we disturb you?” I said.

No one spoke.

I constantly reminded myself that I had to treasure this valuable opportunity that Master had given me.

Another chief said, “You are a true practitioner. I’ve read Zhuan Falun. Continue practicing and you’ll be doing good deeds for our community. You’ve already done your part for us and the community. The CCP is a totalitarian government, so you can’t go against it, because our ordinary citizens don’t have any power.”

I responded as clearly as I was able, “I’m simply letting people know about the CCP’s malicious deeds. The CCP is anti-Chinese, anti-humanity, and anti-Heaven. That’s why Heaven will eliminate it. Kind people are rewarded, and evil incurs evil.”

I noticed the time. It was 12:30 a.m. I had talked for more than five hours. When they left, they waved to me and apologized for bothering me. Seeing their car disappear down the road, I said, “Thank you, Master, for saving the sentient beings. Thank you, Master, for protecting me.”

What happened that night reminds me of what Master said,

“Cultivation depends on one’s own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one’s master.” (Zhuan Falun)
