(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 16 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 19 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Cheng'an County, Hebei Province] Elderly Practitioner Arrested

A practitioner in her 60s was arrested when preparing to put “Falun Dafa is Good” on an electric pole. The practitioner was taken to the Daodongbao Township Police Station for questioning, then taken to the county's police department.

Ms. Lin Xiuyuan and Ms. Xia Hongmei were arrested for telling people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of September 24, 2014. They are held in a detention center.

3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zou Hui Arrested

Mr. Zou Hui was arrested on the morning of September 25, 2014. The police searched his home and took a computer and printer.

4. [Chongqing] Mr. Chen Yan'an Arrested

Mr. Chen Yan'an was arrested for telling people about Falun Gong on September 25, 2014.

5. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Cheng Shuxiang and Four Other Practitioners Detained

Ms. Cheng Shuxiang managed to escape from a brainwashing center on August 9, 2014. She was arrested again on August 14. It was reported that Ms. Cheng and several practitioners were arrested by officers from the Guide Police Station for hanging informational banners about Falun Gong in the Changqing District.

Ms. Wang Hongfeng, Mr. Li Weiguo, Ms. Yao Chuanfen and Mr. Yao Chuanrong were also arrested at that time. They are being held in the Zhonggong Detention Center.

6. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Guo Lirong Arrested

Officers from the Fuqing Road Police Station broke into Ms. Guo Lirong's home and arrested her on the afternoon of September 28, 2014. The officers searched her home and took Falun Gong books and other items.

7. [Qinghai Province] Mr. Wei Jinlu Arrested

Mr. Wei Jinlu was arrested around September 17, 2014.

8. [Tianshui City, Gansu Province] Ten Practitioners Secretly Put on Trial

Ms. Li Cuifang and other practitioners were arrested on December 28, 2013. They were held in a detention center.

Ten practitioners were secretly put on trial in the Qinzhou District Court on the morning of September 25, 2014. They are: Ms. Li Cuifang, Mr. Li Yikui, Ms. Ma Xiaojuan, Mr. Qiao Wencheng, Mr. Zhu Kaihong, Ms. Xia Yanling, Mr. Zhang Zhiming, Ms. Tang Qiong, Ms Xiao Yanhong and Mr. Wang Minghui.

9. [Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Zhang Jinglian Detained

Ms. Zhang Jinglian was arrested by officers from the Chengbei Police Station at a farmers market on the morning of September 20, 2014 for telling people the facts about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked. She is being held in the Xinyu City Detention Center.

10. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Nan Yingshi Detained

Officers led by Yu Haiying from the Domestic Security Division and officers from the Lianzhushan Town Police Station in Mudanjiang City broke into Mr. Nan Yingshi's home and arrested him. The officers ransacked his home and took a portrait of the founder of Falun Gong and Falun Gong books. Mr. Nan is being held in the Mishan City Detention Center.

11. [Xiangtan City, Hunan Province] Ms. Hu Yan and Several Other Practitioners Harassed

Officers from the Yuetang District 610 Office in Xiangtan City broke into Ms. Hu Yan's home in early September. They threatened and lied in an attempt to get her into a brainwashing center.

Officers from the Shebu Town 610 Office broke into Mr. Liang Xing'an's home in mid-September, and told him to get ready to be taken to a brainwashing center. In order to avoid being taken to the brainwashing center Mr. Liang left home and has not returned.

Officers from the Shuangma Town 610 Office tried to break into Mr. Guo Aiguo's home in late September. Mr. Guo refused to open the door. The officers smashed and broke the door and went in. Mr. Guo has to stay away from his home.

Officers from the Tanjiashan Town 610 Office broke into Ms. Suo Yan's home in mid-September. Ms. Suo was not at home. The officers threatened her husband instead.

12. [Xinyi City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Zhu Qingshan Taken into Police Custody

Mr. Zhu Qingshan was deceived by officers and went to the police station on September 23, 2014. He was placed under police custody.

13. [Chongqing] Elderly Ms. Liao Zaifen Arrested

Ms. Liao Zaifen, 78, was arrested and taken to the Jijiang Police Station for telling people the facts about Falun Gong on the morning of September 26, 2014. She was interrogated, and fingerprinted. Her home was searched. She was released at 6 p.m. that day.

14. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Xianglian Arrested

Ms. Sun Yanhuan and Ms. Li Xianglian were pushed into a police car by Liu Changhe, head of the Jiansanjiang Domestic Security Division, on the morning of September 23, 2014. Officers took them to a basement and body-searched them. Ms. Li was taken to the Jiamusi Detention Center. Ms. Sun was brought back and then taken home by officers from the Jiamusi Suburb Police Department.

15. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Lang Baohua Detained

Ms. Lang Baohua was arrested on September 17, 2014. She was taken to the Heping Police Station. Her identity card indicated that she belonged to the Daoli District. As a result, she was taken to the Zhengyanghe Police Station. Officers Lu Jun and Lu Honwei searched her home that afternoon and took a computer and ebooks. She was held in the No. 3 Detention Center for 15 days.

16. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Cuiling and Mr. Wang Xinchen Persecuted

Mr. Wang Xinchun and Ms. Li Cuiling were arrested for petitioning and submitting materials to the authorities on September 17, 2014. Mr. Wang was intercepted. He has been placed under around the clock surveillance at home.

Ms. Li was forcibly taken back to her home town. She was interrogated for more than a day. Ms. Li managed to escape during a physical examination in a hospital on September 19. The Police Department offered a reward of 10,000 yuan for information that could lead to her arrest. Her home was packed with police officers.
