(Minghui.org) Practitioners Mr. Li Zhiqiang and Ms. Shan Xiufang were arrested in Ms. Shan's barber shop at 11 a.m. on January 9, 2014. They are still being detained.

A witness said that several police cars came and several dozen police officers broke into the shop. Mr. Li and Ms. Shan were handcuffed and dragged into police cars. The police held down Mr. Li's head and neck while he shouted “Falun Dafa is good!”

The police were led by Captain Zhang Xikun from the Decheng District Domestic Security Division, along with Liu Dawei, Wang Wenjun and Liu Ning. The Beiyuan Police Station also participated in the arrest, sending out two police cars. They ransacked the shop, taking away three desktop computers, four cell phones, two hard drives, and informational materials that exposed the truth of the persecution. The police also took away Mr. Li's ID card, bank card, cash and keys.

Four people from Mr. Li's workplace, the Dezhou City Gear Factory, also participated in the arrest, including director Ji Shufeng (male), security staff Cheng Jianzhong (male), Li Yujie (female) and Zhang Xiaojing (female).

Her neighbors that witnessed the arrest said that she was very kind to her customers. Ms. Shan has been running the business for more than ten years. They felt sad that the police arrested such a good person.

More than twenty police officers ransacked Mr. Li's home and basement at around 5 p.m.. They took away a tablet computer and a sticker with the words “Falun Dafa is Good!” They called these “evidence” against Li Zhiqiang. The police could not find any desktop computer although they saw computer power lines, so they pressured Mr. Li's wife for the computer. The ransacking lasted for about three hours.

When the police ransacked Ms. Shan's home, her husband was the only person at home. He was so shocked by the police that he suffered from heart pains. Fortunately he took medicine in time and recovered from it. The police were afraid of getting into trouble, so they left only after taking the book, Zhuan Falun.

The two families of the practitioners were devastated by the arrest. They are very worried because authorities use torture, and even kill detained Falun Gong practitioners for their organs. The families visited the Domestic Security Division and asked Zhang Xikun to release them. Ms. Shan's husband had more chest pains while he was there. To make the husband leave, Zhang Xikun lied to him saying that they would release Ms. Shan in a few days.

The Falun Gong practitioners that are currently detained in the Dezhou City Detention Center are: Mr. Li Zhiqiang, Ms. Shan Xiufang, Ms. Liu Yuxiu, Ms. Luo Baoqing and Ms. Cheng Liping.
