(Minghui.org) When Mr. Lu Jinyu from Benxi, Liaoning Province went to visit Ms. Zhao Jinfeng in Fushun City on December 30, 2013, Domestic Security Division head Zhao Lianke from Xinbin County, Fushun City, along with others, broke into Ms. Zhao’s house, arrested him, and took him to the Xinbin Police Station. Zhao Lianke and others from the Fushun Police Department later went to Benxi to search Mr. Lu’s home.
Ms. Zhao Suqin, Ms. Liu Yanjie, Ms. Wang Hua, and Ms. Liu Yumei from Weiziyu Town, Xinbin County, Fushun City, went to Zhao Village to distribute Falun Gong New Year calendars on December 19, 2013. On their way home, they were illegally arrested and taken to the Pingdingshan County Police Department.
The police ransacked their homes that afternoon but found nothing of interest.
They then learned that Ms. Zhao Jinfeng had taken Falun Gong materials from the practitioners’ houses for safekeeping.
When Zhao Lianke and officers from the Fushun Police Station went to her house to arrest her, she was not there, but Mr. Lu Jinyu, who had come to see Ms. Zhao, was present. After searching Ms. Zhao’s house, the police arrested Mr. Lu.
Mr. Lu Jinyu is an outstanding teacher at Benxi College in Liaoning Province, and conducts himself according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. He was detained and severely beaten, then later sentenced to a nine-year prison term. While imprisoned, Mr. Lu was physically and mentally abused.
