(Minghui.org) A court session for Ms. Yu Suhua was scheduled for the morning of January 17, 2014. She has committed no crime, but faces unlawful prison sentencing by the Communist regime's court simply for her belief in Falun Gong.
Communist regime agents arrested Ms. Yu on October 15, 2013 while she was staying with her daughter in Ba'nan District. The agents broke in her daughter's home and confiscated Ms. Yu's Falun Gong books, stole two printers and two laptops.
Ms. Yu Suhua is from Shapingba District, Chongqing City. She began practicing Falun Gong in 1996. She has constantly suffered various abuses since the brutal persecution was launched in 1999.
Right after the start of the persecution, police officers searched Ms. Yu's home and confiscated her Falun Gong books and various photos. Agents from the 610 Office harassed her and her family several times in an attempt to force her to renounce her belief in Falun Gong.
Agents from the Shapingba District 610 Office attempted to arrest Ms. Yu in 2000, and planned to send her to a brainwashing center. In order to avoid being taken into custody, she had to leave home and became destitute. Eight months later in June of 2001, police officers found her and took her to the Baiheling Detention Center in Shapingba District. She was incarcerated for a month and then released.
However, officials from the Shapingba District Domestic Security Division, and police officers, frequently harassed her and searched her house. They confiscated her computer and hired local thugs to monitor her daily activities.
Officials from Baiheling arrested and took her to the Geleshan Brainwashing Center in 2002, where she was tortured. They released her 15 days later, because she had dangerously high blood pressure.
Agents from the Shapingba District 610 Office and local officials arrested her at home on September 29, 2005, took her to the Nanshan Brainwashing Center and tortured her for three months.
Officials from the Shapingba District Domestic Security Division went to the home of Ms. Yu in November 2007, and forcefully took her to the Wangxiangtai Brainwashing Center, where she was tortured for three weeks.
Ms. Yu was arrested in 2009, while she was in a practitioner's home in Chenjiawan. Afterward, she was taken to the Shapingba District Detention Center, where she was tortured for two weeks.
