Mr. Wang Jincang, 72, was arrested by officers from the Xueyuan Police Station on December 25, 2013, because he distributed information about the persecution of Falun Gong. He is being held at a detention center.

3. [Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Zhou Guobo Arrested

Mr. Zhou Guobo was arrested on December 31, 2013.

4. [Anshun City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Zhang Hui and Ms. Xu Guiying Arrested

Ms. Zhang Hui and Ms. Xu Guiying were arrested after the local village secretary reported them for talking to people about Falun Gong on January 6, 2014. Their homes were ransacked by police. Their current whereabouts are unknown.

5. [Xianfeng County, Hubei Province] Mr. Xu Yuxiang Detained

Mr. Xu Yuxiang, 38, was arrested by agents from the local 610 Office, Domestic Security Division, and Gaoleshan Town Police Station on January 5, 2014, while distributing information about Falun Gong and the persecution. He is being held at the Erdaohe Detention Center in Xianfeng.

Ms. Zhou Saiying, 62, from Xiaoshan City, Hangzhou, was arrested at a local food market on December 29, 2013.

9. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Yu Shaoping Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Yu Shaoping was sentenced to a 3-year prison term by the Dayi County Court on December 3, 2013.

10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Yang Lingfu Transferred to Jiaokou Detention Center

Mr. Yang Lingfu was transferred from the Hanyang Detention Center to the Jiaokou Detention Center on January 3, 2014.

11. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Ma Jiang and His Daughter Arrested

Mr. Ma Jiang and his daughter were arrested at home by officers from the Changan Police Station on the afternoon of January 7, 2014. Police confiscated their computer and printer. Mr. Ma's daughter was released later that day.

Mr. Ma's wife, Ms. Wu Shuyan, died as a result of the persecution at the end of May 2013.
