(Minghui.org) The arrest and four-year sentence of Mr. Zhang Xiqin in May 2013 by the Ji County Police has left his four young children on their own.
Ms. Feng Yuqing was arrested by the Ju County Police in December 2013.
The Ju County police arrested Mr. Zhang's wife, Ms. Sheng, when she was distributing informational materials about Falun Gong in May 2013. They also arrested and then released Mr. Zhang. However, they continually harassed and tried to extort money from him. Mr. Zhang was arrested again in September, then sentenced to four years in prison in November 2013.
Mr. Zhang's four children now have no one to care for them. His three daughters are 11, 9, and less than a year old. His son is four. They are in urgent need of attention.
The Ju County police broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Feng Yuqing and arrested her as she was feeding her grandson on December 4, 2013. The police lied to the family that Ms. Feng would return home soon. When she never came back, the family asked about her everywhere. Finally they learned that she has been held in the Rizhao Detention Center in Shandong Province.
Ms. Feng, 51, lived in Xia Village, Ju County. She was arrested and detained by the police for distributing Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs on January 7, 2013. Many members of her family asked the police to release her, because her son was about to be married. She was released on bail the next day. Ms. Feng received a summons on November 5, 2013. When she was arrested on December 4, the police left an arrest warrant.
Ms. Feng endured two years of forced labor beginning in 2009. Her family is very worried about her this time.
