(Minghui.org) With the imminent collapse of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) forced labor camp system, some labor camps were disbanded in the past six months and practitioners held there have now been released. However, the CCP continues to imprison practitioners in some camps and has transferred some practitioners to other facilities.

Guozhen Forced Labor Camp Releases All Inmates Except Falun Gong Practitioners

Guozhen Forced Labor Camp of Baoji City, Shannxi Province, released all detainees in early August 2013, except for three Falun Gong practitioners: Tu Songshan of Henan Province, Chen Baohan of Shannxi Province, and Li Xupeng of Shannxi Province. The facility is now used as a transformation “rehabilitation” center.

Jiangxi Province Forced Labor Camp Transfers Falun Gong Practitioners to Rehabilitation Center

The Jiangxi Province Forced Labor Camp was officially disbanded in early 2013 and some inmates were released. However, most Falun Gong practitioners were transferred to the Jiangxi Province Rehabilitation Center.

Ms. Tan Meili, a practitioner from Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province, was taken to the labor camp last year and later transferred to the rehabilitation center. Her husband went to visit her recently. Wang Junzheng, Chief of the Education Section told him to give more money to the center. Tan's husband asked, “Why? My wife's term will be over in a few days.” “Over?” Wang replied, then continued: “I will extend her term.” Ms. Tan's husband argued the illegality of placing her in a rehabilitation center to begin with. Wang replied, “Why don't you try to sue me?”

The CCP has committed genocide against Falun Gong practitioners. As the forced labor camp system collapses, it is important that all participants in labor camp activities and operations will not involve themselves further in these crimes.
