(Minghui.org) The annual Dragon Boat Festival is one of the most colorful summer events in Twin Cities, Minnesota. Celebrating its tenth anniversary, the festival has warmly welcomed Falun Dafa practitioners for the eighth time this year. The event took place on July 13-14, 2013.
Practitioners arrived early in the morning to set up their tent. Bright words “Falun Dafa” caught the attention of many passersby as cheerful crowds circulated throughout the day. Visitors poured in to get information about the practice and receive beautiful, handmade paper lotus flowers.

As part of their activities, practitioners demonstrated the five gentle exercises of Falun Dafa. Many people were attracted to the serene music accompanying the exercises and admired the practitioners' peaceful demeanor.
Several passersby said they especially liked watching the exercise demonstration. Upon learning that Falun Dafa is based on the three main tenets of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance, they commented that this is exactly what the world needs today.
People were intrigued to hear about the physical and mental benefits of the practice. They were also shocked to learn that the Chinese communist regime has brutally persecuted Dafa practitioners in China for the past 14 years, stopping at no evil, including killing practitioners on demand for their organs.
When people heard that Rep. Phyllis Kahn of the Minnesota House of Representatives initiated a resolution to call for the immediate cessation of forced organ harvesting in China, they gladly signed a petition to express their support. Some also took informational materials for their friends and relatives.
