(Minghui.org) On the evening of April 15, 2013, staff from the local Political and Legal Affairs Committee, 610 Office, Domestic Security Division and police station raided several Falun Dafa practitioners' homes. They claimed that they found many truth-clarification pamphlets.

Fellow practitioner Yuhua (pseudonym) and I were illegally arrested and taken to a detention center.

Truth-clarification materials are used to explain the facts about Dafa and save people. They should not become an excuse to persecute us. Master would not allow it. When we memorized the Fa, we realized that we must have big loopholes.

Master said:

“Whenever there is interference of one kind or another in qigong practice, you should look for reasons within yourself and determine what you still have not let go.”(Zhuan Falun)

Upon looking within, we found that we still had fear, attached to sentimentality, and pursuit of leisure. We often became drowsy while studying the Fa and sending forth righteous thoughts. We realized that it wasn't our true selves but a result of postnatally formed notions. We asked Master to strengthen us and help us eliminate them.

The elimination process was subtle; it felt like a cloth washing the filth off my brain. It also felt like a broom cleaning the trash out of my body. I felt delight after getting rid of my attachments.

I am 62 years old. Here, I want to share with you my wonderful experience, which happened during my detention.

When I looked within on April 17, I felt that my image was not good and did not reflect being a Dafa practitioner. I always kept my head down as if I was ashamed to see people.

When sending forth righteous thoughts around 6 p.m., I thought: “I am a Dafa practitioner in the Fa-rectification period. What I've done are the most righteous and upright things. I should raise my head and expand my chest [to show confidence].” I asked benevolent Master to reinforce me.

After that thought, I felt like there were bugs crawling on the left side of my neck. I wanted to reach up and grab them, but realized that I was sending forth righteous thoughts and should not move. Later I felt the same way on the right side of my neck. This sensation persisted all over my neck; it felt like something was moving out of my neck. I realized that Master was helping me and felt very excited.

After sending forth righteous thoughts, I raised my head and leaned back comfortably. I was so excited when I told Yuhua about my experience that my voice trembled. Yuhua was also delighted for me. “Master adjusted your neck with Falun,” she said.

“I am so lucky! I just personally witnessed the wonder of Dafa. Master eliminated the chain around my neck in another dimension,” I said. Yuhua reminded me to thank Master. I knelt on the ground and kowtowed to Master.

Master dissolved my grievances, eliminated my karma and allowed me to regain my dignity and raise my head. I am enveloped by Master's enormous grace.

With tears in my eyes, I told Master in my heart: “Benevolent Master, you did not give up on your disciple who has deviated once. You still protect and tenderly care for me. My gratitude is beyond words. I will firmly practice Falun Dafa, trust and respect Dafa and Master, and follow Master home.”

When I still lowered my head due to decades of habit when exercising, walking or having a meal, Yuhua would remind me, “Raise your head!” She said that my facial complexion also changed to a healthy pink color the next day.

When we were held in a detention center, local practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts 24 hours a day and exposed the perpetrators on the Minghui website. They also contacted fellow practitioners overseas to write truth-clarification letters and make phone calls to the officials participating in the persecution. Our family members also came to demand our release.

Master said:

“The Fa-power of righteous thought strikes demon caves” (“Surround and Exterminate” from Hong Yin Vol. II)

Since we were already in the evil den, we decided to make good use of it. We slept very little. Besides memorizing Fa, doing the exercises, looking within and sharing, we intensified sending forth righteous thoughts and clarifying the truth about Dafa to people.

Yuhua really impressed me. She kept clarifying the facts to people one after another, including the guards. The results were great. Our group cooperation shocked the evil, and under Master's benevolent protection, we were released unconditionally.

After I came home, fellow practitioners said that I had changed a great deal. In the past, I always had a serious expression on my face. Now I smile all the time. The true delight shows on my face, which radiates with a healthy glow. My head is upright and I appear taller than before.
