Additional Persecution News from China – April 25, 2013 (7 Reports)
(Minghui.org) Today's news from mainland China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 5 provinces. According to this report, at least 9 practitioners were illegally arrested and mistreated.
1. [Henan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Liu Juxiang, Ms. Ni Jinzhi, and Ms. Chen were arrested at their homes in the Dengyue neighborhood on the afternoon of April 17, 2013. Officer Zhang Zhonghua and others from the 610 Office of the Zhongyuan Oil Field carried out the arrests.
Ms. Chen is currently detained at the Huangpu Brainwashing Center.
2. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wu Zhengzheng Arrested
Ms. Wu Zhengzheng was arrested on April 21, 2013.
3. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Aihong Arrested
Ms. Zhang Aihong, in her 40s, from Datun Village, Shuangyang Town, Zichuan District, was arrested when she went out on the evening of April 23, 2013.

4. [Chongqing] Mr. Zhang Zhiqiang Arrested
Mr. Zhang Zhiqiang, nearly 40, from Tai'an Town, Tongnan County, was arrested on his way back to Chongqing from his hometown on the evening of April 23, 2013. His current whereabouts are unknown.

5. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Jianling Detained
Ms. Wang Jianling from Zhanghedian Town, Cheng'an County, Hebei Province, traveled by car to Anyang City, Henan Province, to deliver some goods on the morning of April 14, 2013. She was reported to the police while speaking about Falun Gong with an accountant at her destination. Subsequently, she was arrested by officers from the Houhe Police Station of Neihuang County.
Ms. Wang is currently incarcerated in the County (Neihuang) Detention Center.

6. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wei Donglan Sent to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Wei Donglan from Lushun, Dalian City, was arrested at her workplace by officers from the Minzhuqiao Police Station on the morning of April 24, 2013. She was sent to Qianshan Road Brainwashing Center.
7. [Cangzhou, Hebei Province] Ms. Chen Shumin Arrested
Ms. Chen Shumin was arrested while speaking to people about Falun Gong in Wuzhuangzi Village (in Cangzhou suburb) on April 24, 2013. She was taken to the Yunhe Public Police Department.
The officers ransacked Ms. Chen's home and confiscated her Falun Gong books, Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs, three cell phones, one laptop, cash, and printing materials. Ms. Chen was released in the afternoon.
