(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Zurich, Switzerland held activities in the business district on June 22 to expose the persecution of Falun Gong in China by the Communist Party. Practitioners have been held and tortured in prisons and labor camps since the persecution began in 1999. Among the atrocities that have come to light over the past 14 years is the harvesting of organs from imprisoned practitioners' bodies when they are still alive.

Practitioners around the world work together to let people know what is really going on in Chinese labor camps and prisons. By holding activities such as the one in Zurich, they are able to speak with people directly and address their questions.

One man asked what the Chinese government had done to stop the organ harvesting. A practitioner explained that the CCP was responsible for this persecution; that they'd abducted and tortured Falun Gong practitioners, then harvested their organs for profit. The practitioner spoke about the victims of these crimes and the evidence that has been published online and in the books Bloody Harvest and State Organs: Transplant Abuse in China.

The people respond

A gentleman named Hans said, “I can't understand how such brutal murders and such a government could exist. It ordered its army and police to harm the people. No matter whether this happened in China or anywhere in the world, it shouldn't happen. I can't tolerate it.”

The organ harvesting is “a crime that must not continue, and a violation of human dignity. It is against the values of humanity,” said John from Spain.

College student Rommie said, “It's so important to sign this petition. Live organ harvesting is a crime against humanity and human rights.” He said he would tell everyone he knew to sign the petition.

Propaganda in China

In China, the regime has spent years fabricating lies about Falun Gong. The practice became popular very quickly so the communist government made use of its state-run media to spread false propaganda in an attempt to stop people from practicing. As a result, many Chinese people have grave misunderstandings about Falun Gong and practitioners.

One Chinese man spent over thirty minutes talking with practitioner Denise. At first, he insisted that Denise had received incorrect information from the media. Denise explained that many practitioners had personally experienced the persecution and she knew some of these victims herself. They had escaped the environment in China and were now able to speak freely about the abuses they endured.

The man found it all hard to believe, but he listened carefully. Denise told him about the organ harvesting and torture in labor camps. She asked him to just remember that Falun Gong practitioners were good people.

Other Chinese people also listened to the practitioners speak about the persecution and took some information home with them.

A lady from Mongolia said that she'd heard about the organ harvesting. She signed the petition to call for an end to the persecution and expressed her hope for all people to live without fear.
