(Minghui.org) This is a true story about a police officer who withdrew from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations during a lengthy phone conversation with me. Here, I would like to share details of our conversation, and some observations about clarifying the truth.
I called the policeman's number, said hello and asked, “Do you know that withdrawing from the CCP will protect you and keep you safe and sound?” The person on the end of line roared back, “Do you know what I do for a living? I'm a police officer!” He gave me his position at a specific police station. I laughed and said, “I don't care what you do. I just want to save you. Who says that police officers shouldn't be saved?” He said, “Do you dare to talk to my director? I can get him the phone.” I said, “That's fine. I want to save everyone.” He said, “I'm going to kill you. You are getting me into a lot of trouble.” I said, “Falun Gong practitioners are good people and live according to the principles of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance. We won't cause you any problems. It is the evil CCP who is making you arrest good people.” He said, “I'm going to kill you and you won't be able to take care of your family. I will look everywhere until I find you.” I said, “My family is harmonious and happy. It is the CCP that disturbs the peace of practitioners who are good people.” He said, “I'm going to kill you. I'll arrest you and then kill you.”
He kept yelling and I sent righteous thoughts to clear out the negative elements interfering with him. I said to him, “The CCP is worse and more ruthless than you are. Do you know why they didn't arrest or kill a single person during the Tiananmen Incident on June 4, 1989 when the tanks were rolling over the students?” He answered, “They feared the condemnation of the international community.” I then asked, “Do you know what the international public opinion of the CCP is now?” He didn't utter a word.
I continued, “The whole world is condemning the CCP. The CCP tramples human rights. They are taking organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and selling them for high prices. The CCP is committing monstrous crimes. Humankind is indignant, and heaven despises the CCP and will destroy it. Falun Gong is saving people. Practitioners are selflessly saving people while enduring the terror of persecution, extreme weather conditions and suffering ridicule and derision. Practitioners travel day and night under rough conditions. They hit every street and alley in order to save people while being abused and cursed at. Practitioners still save people when they are taken into custody, detained and persecuted. Practitioners approach people with smiling faces and have only one wish, to save people. Just as what our Master said:
'We don't believe consciences can't be brought back.' (“To Save the World” from Hong Yin III)
I continued, “We want to save people. We want to save people from the evil grip of the CCP. We don't want you to be involved and buried along with the CCP when heaven destroys it. We want to save you. We've made CDs, pamphlets and other truth-clarification materials at our own expense. How much have we spent? Can it be counted clearly? So many Falun Gong practitioners have been detained, sentenced and persecuted to death. Can the number be collected? Practitioners have paid quite a price for this. Do you understand? People in over 100 countries believe in Truth-Compassion-Forbearance and support Falun Gong. Do you understand why? Who is this for? Have you thought about this? Our Master has suffered great hardship to save sentient beings. You have no way of knowing, even in your wildest dreams. You have been completely trapped by the evil CCP. You've been deceived by the lies that have been broadcast on television. Even your speech has become infected with the CCP's propaganda. You have arrested good people against your own conscience in order to obtain promotions, power and wealth. When will you follow the dictates of your conscience, draw a clear distinction between good and evil and choose a glorious future? Criminals should be punished and good deeds rewarded.”
I paused slightly at this point. He said in a soft voice, “Please take a rest and have a sip of water.” I said, “It's OK. I'm happy to suffer or feel a bit tired if you understand the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution, and can be saved. The CCP doesn't treat police officers like yourself as human beings. They use you as cannon-fodder to do their dirty work. After the Great Cultural Revolution, they secretly shot over 700 police officers in the mountain area in Yunnan Province, as compensation for those who had been persecuted to death during the Cultural Revolution. They lied to their families and said they had been killed in the line of duty. Did the person who told you to arrest Falun Gong practitioners have documents issued from the upper authorities? Are there documents linking you to the persecution of Falun Gong?” He answered, “I don't have any records and haven't recorded anything.” I said, “High level officials in the CCP have given themselves an escape route. They have directed their subordinates not to record their names on documents to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Who do you think will be their scapegoats? Have you thought about this?”
He said, “Please be careful. The CCP is really bad. It is capable of doing anything.” I said, “I know. It has already persecuted 3,643 people to death and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Do you know that the CCP persecuted to death the director of a forced labor camp? Whatever man does, Gods watch and record. Debts need to be settled. I hope you will remember that Falun Gong is good. Don't do evil deeds and you and your family will have a bright future.” He respectfully said, “Please put your mind at rest. I have a conscience. I won't harm any practitioners.” I said, “I have a request. Please encourage your colleagues not to do bad things against practitioners.” He said, “I will.” I said, “This way the CCP will exhaust itself and deservedly die on its own. Do you want to escape from its clutch and withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations? Do you agree to withdraw?” He said in a resolute voice, “I withdraw!” I gave him an alias and recorded his withdrawal from the CCP.
He listened quietly when I told him that Falun Gong has spread to over 100 countries and Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong, has received over 1,000 awards throughout the world. I told him, “This is the supreme Buddha Law. This is the last opportunity for man to be saved. Please sincerely recite these words in your mind: Falun Dafa is good, Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is good. You will then have blessings, good fortune and be saved.” I told him about Han Guangsheng, the former head of the Justice Bureau in Liaoning Province, who escaped to Canada and exposed the CCP, and Hao Fengjun, a former high level police officer from Tianjin City, who gave up his post after understanding the facts about Falun Gong. He escaped to Australia and revealed the truth about the persecution. The policeman thanked me many times but I said that if he wanted to thank someone it should be Mr. Li Hongzhi. “Mr. Li is the one who is saving you. I'm merely transmitting information and sharing blessings with you.” He said goodbye with a voice full of gratitude.
I felt very gratified after saving this person. I enlightened to a few things:
1. People can't easily withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations if they don't understand the truth. You need to find out where they are blocked and open up these locks, clarify the facts, and awaken their consciences. Master said,
“As for saving sentient beings and clarifying the truth, a lot of people haven’t done it in depth. They’ll say just a few words to people, thinking “Listen or don’t listen, just do whatever you like. You don’t want to listen, fine!” and they’ll go on to find the next person. In whatever you do you should carry it through to the end, do it well, and if you intend to save someone, then go ahead and save him.” (“What is a Dafa Disciple, Fa Teaching Given at the 2011 New York Fa Conference”)
2. Dafa is dignified and compassionate. There is compassion in dignity, and dignity in compassion. Practitioners' truthful words destroy the lies spread by the CCP and peoples' consciences are awakened.
Master said,
“We awaken people so they can distinguish good from evil And find their true selves to return to the heavens.” (“What's the Meaning of Life?” from Hong Yin III)
3. Don't be submissive nor arrogant. Be kind and friendly no matter what the other party says. People are attracted by the benevolent field and the characteristics of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance that practitioners carry, and practitioners are thus able to save sentient beings. Master said,
“Don’t be bothered when people have a certain attitude or misunderstandings. When you act just to save the person, to save sentient beings, then I think the impact of that can change everything.” (“Fa Teaching Given in Manhattan”)
4. Don't be satisfied with just saving the individual person. Encourage people to take benevolent action and indirectly save the people around them. Bless and protect good and kind people, and their family members, and help them to choose a bright future.
My level and understanding is limited. Please compassionately point out anything that isn't in accordance with the Fa and let us improve together as one body.
