(Minghui.org) I am from mainland China and started practicing Falun Dafa in March 1999. Since that time, like other practitioners, I have been severely persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), including being thrown into forced labor camps, detained in handcuffs and shackles, fired from my job, had my pay stopped, sworn at by my husband and relatives, etc. However, these tribulations never changed my belief in Falun Dafa. The Dafa principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance took root in my heart the day I began the practice. It was as if seeds were planted in my heart, then blossomed, and produced fruit. I then began to share this fruit with people in the human world who have predestined relationships with us.

I would like to share a few stories about miracles experienced by people who believe that Falun Dafa is wonderful.

1. The Mute Speak Again

Although my friend's grandson was over two years old, he still didn't talk. One day she asked me tearfully, “What am I going to do? My grandson still doesn't talk. We went to different hospitals to see different doctors, but no one could figure out why he didn't talk. Our family hasn't done anything bad, so why is my grandson like that? We are extremely worried.” I replied, “Please be calm. I believe that he's not actually mute. Bring him over and I'll have a look.” She brought him over; I held him in my arms and said, “You are not mute, you know how to speak. Please say. 'Falun Dafa is wonderful, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful. Hello, Teacher Li.'” I also asked within my heart for Teacher's help. Soon after, this little boy started talking. This was truly a miracle from Dafa!

2. Malignant Cancer Disappears

A friend of mine developed breast cancer. She had an operation and had one breast removed. The expenses for hospitalization, operation, medications, and injections took all of her savings. She doesn't have a job, and her husband passed away a few years ago; her daughter is married and does manual labor, but was on social assistance. In addition to her financial difficulties, developing cancer made her life even more difficult.

I ran into her one day, and she said tearfully, “I was told that I needed regular chemotherapy, and that there would be terrible consequences if I didn't continue treatment. How can I still go to the hospital? I have no money. All I can do is wait to die.” I asked her if she would truly believe what I was about to tell her. When she agreed, I asked her to recite sincerely, “Falun Dafa is wonderful, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful,” in her heart. I also asked her to withdraw from the CCP's Youth League and Young Pioneers (since she wasn't a Party member). I also gave her a copy of the Shen Yun Performing Arts DVD and a Dafa amulet.

Some time later, I ran into her again. She was very excited to see me and said, “Since that day you told me, I have been reciting 'Falun Dafa is wonderful, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful.' I always carry the amulet with me. I had another examination, and it showed that I'm cancer-free! I want to sincerely thank you!” I said, “I'd rather you thank my Teacher, since it was Teacher who saved you.” She then said, “Thank you, Teacher!”

3. What You Asked Me to Recite Was Truly Healing

A neighbor suffered from a locked shoulder and degeneration of the intervertebral discs. Neither hospital nor other treatments were able to heal him. The doctor told him to go home to rest. After I heard about this, I told his wife to ask him to sincerely recite, “Falun Dafa is wonderful, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful,” which would be beneficial for his health. A few days later, they moved.

A few months later, I ran into this neighbor again. He told me very excitedly, “What you told me to do really worked! I didn't expect that a locked shoulder and degeneration of the intervertebral discs could be healed by reciting 'Falun Dafa is wonderful, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful' - especially since the extended hospitalization didn't help. I recited this daily, and was healed in a short period of time. Everything is completely healed, and I haven't had any relapses.” I asked him if he would continue to recite it. He told me that he would for sure, and how could he not? He would recite it every day!

4. Woman Regards Amulet as a Treasure

I went to buy some peppers at the market one day last year and saw the owner of the booth wearing a mask. I asked her why she was wearing a mask, and she explained that she'd developed some kind of facial paralysis. As a result, her mouth was crooked and she kept drooling. She had spent tens of thousands of yuan on treatments, but without results. Now she'd run out of money, so she had to wear a mask. I asked her if she would truly believe what I was about to tell her. She said that she would, as she knew that Falun Gong practitioners were good people. I told her that as long as she sincerely recited, “Falun Dafa is wonderful, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful," it'd be beneficial for her health. I then gave her an amulet and said, “If you forget what I told you, you can just read what's on the amulet.” She accepted the amulet and regarded it as a treasure. She put it carefully in her pocket and also agreed to withdraw from the Young Pioneers.

I saw her again this year, and she'd undergone a complete change. She didn't wear a mask, her mouth had returned to normal and she wasn't drooling. Her face appeared to be completely natural. She was very excited to see me and said, “Thank you!” I asked her to thank Teacher, so she kept saying, “Thank you, Teacher! Thank you, Falun Gong!”

5. My 92-year-old Mother-in-Law

a. My elderly mother-in-law started practicing Falun Dafa within a field of compassion and benevolence; her illnesses then disappeared.

My mother-in-law is 92 years old, and suffered from several illnesses including migraines, severe arthritis, locked shoulder, and bone enlargement. I had asked her before to live with us but she refused, saying that she'd live with her daughter for as long as possible. Now that her illnesses were more severe and she was getting much older, her son-in-law asked her to come live with us. I brought her to our home. My friends said that I was silly, since before when we asked her to come help us by babysitting, she refused. Now that she was older and suffering from so many illnesses, nobody wanted to keep her, so why would we take her? I told my friend, “I am a Falun Gong practitioner and need to live by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and respect the elderly. This is something I should do.” Since then, I have treated her nicely, washed her clothes, made her meals and also taught her how to read, so that she could study the Fa. She also learned the exercises and her diseases quickly disappeared.

b. She sustained a fracture that healed miraculously - without medication nor other treatment.

Last July, she fell and broke her left arm and left femur. My neighbor took her to the hospital. I wasn't home at that time, so my neighbor called and told me that she'd fallen and asked me to come to the hospital. My husband and I went to the hospital immediately. My neighbor told me to go through the admissions procedure so that she could get treatment.

I told my neighbor that I appreciated the help, but we were going to take her home. My neighbor looked at me strangely and asked why we would do that when my mother-in-law had been injured so badly and needed to be hospitalized. I explained that she'd be all right, then asked my husband to carry her home. Her left arm was completely swollen and had turned purple. Her broken leg was also swollen and she couldn't move or touch it. She had to sleep on her side, but was in so much pain that she cried out continuously. I asked her not to shout like that, because the more she shouted, the worse it would get. I asked Teacher to help her.

I then asked her to consider that she'd fallen a few times before and was OK, so why was it so serious this time? Did she remember that she was a practitioner when she fell? If her first thought was to ask Teacher for help, then she'd be fine. She said that she'd completely forgotten. When others told her that she'd broken her arm, she thought the same. She had forgotten Teacher's words.

Teacher said:

“Good or evil comes from that instant thought.” (from Zhuan Falun)

This one thought brought about such serious consequences!

Three days later, the swelling in her left hand went down and the skin color became normal. She was able to lift her arm to do the exercises. The swelling in her leg went down after two months, and she was able to turn over herself and go to the bathroom without support. She didn't take medication, get an injection or wear bandages during those months. Although she couldn't move, we carried her to the bathroom every other day for a shower, which could not have been done in a hospital. However, we held to our beliefs, believed in Dafa, studied the Fa, and did the exercises. The miracle happened right in front of our eyes! She is now almost fully recovered and can walk downstairs and even to the park.

c. Losing and Regaining Her Hearing Three Times after Sending Righteous Thoughts

A few years ago, she went for a walk in a park and suddenly went completely deaf. She had very strong righteous thoughts and asked Teacher for help. Her hearing returned quickly.

The second time it happened was when her good friend passed away in her hometown. She became upset when she heard about it and suddenly couldn't hear anymore. She thought instantly that she was a Falun Dafa practitioner, and since she believed in Teacher and Dafa, she should be fine. She then recovered her hearing again.

The third time, she lost her hearing while sitting on a couch. She was so upset that she slammed the table with both hands to get my attention. I stopped what I was doing and ran to her. She was completely deaf, and I knew that this wasn't something minor and would be an obstacle to her cultivation. I sent righteous thoughts with her immediately to eliminate the interference in her dimensional field. I also asked for Teacher's help to restore her hearing. We did the exercises and studied the Fa; while reading the Fa, her hearing came back.

Teacher said ,

“When disciples have ample righteous thoughts Master has the power to turn back the tide” (from Hong Yin Volume II)

My mother and I knelt in front of Teacher's portrait with tears running down our faces.

Teacher has done so much for us. There are no words to express our gratitude. My mother-in-law said that she wants to live to see the day when Teacher returns to China.
