(Minghui.org) Recently I downloaded the latest article with Master's comments and recent Minghui editorials. I wanted to read them carefully. I came to understand some important issues: why so many practitioners undermine the Fa, don't pay attention to safety, or collect funds among practitioners in China and abroad. Regarding undermining the Fa and collecting funds among practitioners, multiple articles from Minghui editors have clearly pointed that those things are not allowed. Why does this keep happening?
The reason is that many practitioners still consider doing things as cultivation and forget about the essence of cultivation and the duty of a Fa rectification period Dafa practitioner.
Among my fellow practitioners, there is a so-called "prophet" who undermines the Fa. In fact, I think calling herself a prophet implies a great deal of egotism. People can believe whatever they want when judging someone's accomplishments. But she named herself a "prophet." This not only reflects her pretentiousness but also her arrogance. In other words, calling herself a "prophet" shows a dangerous tendency for pride, often called the greatest sin.
I read her rubbish only once on a forum and I take responsibility for that. She also sent her stuff to me. When I look at her writings, it seemed that the spaces between the lines were filled with dark matter. I suggested that the forum coordinator delete that person's copy from the online discussion. I asked the forum coordinator to not only delete what the person wrote, but also to block her account and to document this with a note of “not rational” for internal management. In fact, both the person who deleted the article and I have our celestial eyes open. We see many things and have written many articles.
Why did this "prophet's" article leave me with such a negative impression? She sent a note that threatened our forum would be attacked if we did not publish her article. Among other strange statements and demands, she made one thing clear to us: “You must listen to me.”
How could practitioners listen to such an irrational person? This in itself indicates a big problem.
When people begin cultivation, they do so for different reasons. Through studying the Fa, they begin to understand the goal and principles of cultivation. Many appreciate that this environment is very pure compared to ordinary social settings, so they like to remain here. In the depth of their hearts, they really do not want to cultivate according to the requirements of Dafa with an emphasis on improving one's character and saving sentient beings by clarifying the truth. They want what they came for. They look for shortcuts to reach high levels. They aren't interested in solid cultivation or saving sentient beings.
The old forces are very unhappy that those people were able to obtain the Fa. When the old forces see the attachment to taking shortcuts in cultivation, they of course have evil beings arrange a shortcut for these people. These people present a fertile breeding ground for evil beings.
Master has warned us seriously:
"The great waves shift the sand, and that is what cultivation practice is all about. What is left in the end will be genuine gold. " (Zhuan Falun)
How could a person return to his true home without arduous cultivation? Wouldn't this cause big problems in the heavens?
I remember a practitioner once told me that several practitioners with their celestial eyes open wanted to help a practitioner suffering from thought karma. I considered what he said and responded, “How do they know what they saw is true? Did they claim Master's law body told them to do this?”
He said, "We did ask them about that. When we measured Master's Fa against what they said, we did not think it complied with the Fa. But they emphasized that they saw it without any of their own thoughts, so it must be true.”
I smiled and said, “Let's read Master's article.” Master said in “Another Comment on Evaluation Criteria” from Essentials for Further Advancement:
“I said long ago that the criterion for evaluating a disciple is nothing but his xinxing, and I will never allow anyone who hasn’t attained Enlightenment or reached Consummation to see clearly my disciples’ actual cultivation states. What is visible to those who can see are merely manifestations shown to them at their particular low levels, and they are unable to see things at higher levels.”
“Don’t you know that all dimensions exist simultaneously in the same place? Living beings in any dimension are likely to overlap with human bodies, and they look very much like possessing spirits (futi). Yet they exist in different dimensions and have nothing to do with humans. Can those whose Third Eye are said to be open understand these complex situations?”
Master has clearly pointed this out. The practitioners who thought they knew the truth have taken Master's words out of context.
Many claimed that Master's law body told them to do such-and-such or that Master passed them messages from overseas. What they are actually trying to do is to elevate themselves and prove they speak in Master's name. Master explicitly said:
"Even if you saw my Law Body, saw my Gong Body, or saw some part of my body at higher levels, don't develop any attachment. All of those exist with this surface me being the Main Body. My human skin at the outermost surface is the Main Body.”("Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference")
“What the students can see or know at present is limited by their levels. The old forces are Gods, and right now to you it's as if they can change into a myriad of forms. If the students don't take the Fa as teacher, and focus their attention on those things, then the old forces can conjure up for you any false vision they want.” ("Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference")
“One of the reasons why I ask you to take the Fa as teacher is that I don't want you to be interfered with this way. I ask you to take the Fa as teacher, and this Fa is right there, so just act in accordance with the Fa and cultivate openly and with dignity. If you didn't have the Fa, then think about it, could you possibly cultivate just by going on the little bit that you can see? You couldn't, right?! So why don't you go by the Fa's requirements?” ("Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference")
A lot of people pass along gossip, and try to use this “news” to make themselves seem important. In this regard Master has already told us in Zhuan Falun:
“This book is already invaluable. What else are you still looking for? All these are reflections of those attachments.”
“In fact, it does not matter who the person is—there is only one Fa. Only by observing this Dafa can one meet the genuine standard.” (Zhuan Falun)
Master has written about this in "Drive Out Interference" regarding the wretch in Hong Kong. Why does this kind of thing still happen? Even though it appears that these cases are different, fundamentally they are the same—they all slander Master, defame the Minghui website, promote themselves, and keep to themselves in a tightly-knit circle.
I would like to briefly discuss my personal experience. My celestial eye was open since I was a child. At times I could see, and other times not. After I began to cultivate, my celestial eye opened further. I have seen grand and magnificent scenes in other dimensions. This greatly enhanced my confidence and determination to cultivate. However, since I was young, I also had an attachment to showing off. Ordinary people would often misunderstand what I told them, so I gradually gave up this attachment and finally let it go completely.
Later, during the Fa-rectification period, I wrote articles from the perspective of my supernormal abilities. Local practitioners and practitioners from surrounding areas liked to discuss cultivation experiences with me. However, the results were not good whenever it was related to supernormal abilities. Later I understood that supernormal abilities will not solve a fundamental problem if we do not improve based on the Fa; it just brings out a lot of attachments and human notions.
After I understood this, I refused requests from practitioners who asked me to resolve a problem using my supernormal ability. Those who look for shortcuts in cultivation do not come to me anymore. At the same time, I understand why those practitioners looked for me. It was because I had this attachment. Such things happened four or five years ago.
When we later gathered to share cultivation experiences, I learned to give others the opportunity to share. If there was time, I would share my understandings based on the Fa. I would discuss my understandings of how to learn the Fa and how to look inside whether at home or at work. I also shared my weaknesses. I never spoke about what I saw or anything to make people curious. I also paid attention to other practitioners' experiences, to help them find gaps in their cultivation, and to help them catch up. This is the way we all can improve. I think practitioners are equal regardless of their level, so in my heart I treat every practitioner the same. I do not get too close to anyone and do not become part of an exclusive group. No matter what I have, I let go of my human notions, behave humbly to everyone, and try to conform to the overall environment.
After cultivating for many years, I have seen with my supernormal ability that a practitioner who fully acts according to Master's requirements has an energy field that really shines. The energy field of practitioners who are attached to their own things and do things their own way is dark. Many evil beings squat in their fields and generate more and more delusions for them. The true spirits of people who have undermined the Fa have been tightly bound up, awaiting for the final trial. But on the surface level they continue their detrimental efforts, supported by rotten ghosts and meddling deities, to confuse others.
Admittedly, authentic practitioners who cultivate based on the Fa still have shortcomings. This is actually very normal. These people pay attention to cultivating virtue. Their every word and action reflects the demeanor of a Dafa disciple. The self-centered person does not pay attention to virtue. They may pretend to cultivate virtue but it's actually a deceit to promote themselves. It's not difficult to distinguish them from true practitioners.
If we truly listen to Master, put down all attachments, and overcome all obstacles, we will do well in walking our cultivation path.
Cultivation does not mean doing things, nor is it a routine chore or something to superficially participate in. It is Master's great compassion that paved the way back to the heavens. How can we not treasure this precious opportunity that comes but once in tens of thousands of years?
Finally, let me share Master's words with my fellow practitioners:
"When I taught the Fa I told you before about all the problems that might occur during this malicious and destructive examination. It is indeed difficult for those who haven’t truly done cultivation to come through this. Now you can see why I’ve often told you to read the book more, right?! The Fa can break all attachments, the Fa can destroy all evil, the Fa can shatter all lies, and the Fa can strengthen righteous thoughts." (“Drive out Interference” from Essentials for Further Advancement II)
Let us cherish Master's mercy, help each other, and do well in assisting Master's Fa rectification.
